BARDIANI CSF FAIZANÉ: VITTORIA DI FILIPPO FIORELLI AL SIBIU TOUR

Filippo Fiorelli conquista la prima tappa del Sibiu Tour in Romania. Per lui anche leadership nella classifica generale e maglia a punti. Prima vittoria stagionale per l'atleta siciliano.

Nella prima tappa del Sibiu Tour arriva subito il successo per la Bardiani CSF Faizané con un Filippo Fiorelli scatenato che finalizza al meglio il lavoro di squadra. 

Prima frazione da Brezoi a Sibiu con oltre 200km di gara conclusi con uno sprint regolato nel gruppo dei migliori da Filippo Fiorelli. Sull’ultima salita di giornata scattano alcuni uomini ma gli atleti della Bardiani CSF Faizanè restano davanti in copertura per Fiorelli, condotto al meglio dal treno ciclamino e lanciato nel lungo sprint resistendo al tentativo di ritorno degli altri due atleti italiani Dalla Valle e Piccolo. 

Un’ottima prestazione dell’atleta della Bardiani CSF Faizané che dopo il sesto posto ai recenti campionati italiani, concretizza il suo momento di forma con un importante successo, il primo stagionale, che gli permette anche di conquistare la leadership della classifica generale

Queste le prime parole di Filippo Fiorelli dopo il traguardo:

"Una vittoria davvero cercata quest'anno e quest'oggi. Mi sentivo veramente bene e sin da questa mattina ho detto ai miei compagni e ai direttori che avrei fatto io la gara e la volata. Finalmente mi sono sbloccato, perché già dal Giro di Sicilia ero in condizione, al Giro d'Italia sono uscito per una giornata no, ma da subito sono tornato in corsa al Tour of Norway e poi in Slovenia e all'Italiano. Finalmente qui a Sibiu ne ho raccolto i primi frutti. Devo ringraziare i miei compagni che hanno svolto tutti un lavoro splendido, chi da lontano come Battaglin, chi sulla salita come Martinelli, chi nel treno finale come Marcellusi e Colnaghi. E i miei DS che mi hanno sempre sostenuto e creduto in me, così come mia mamma. Con la vittoria è arrivata anche la maglia di leader, ma la classifica generale non è un nostro obiettivo primario, anche se domani sarò al servizio anche dei miei compagni più abili in salita e vedremo cosa succederà."

BARDIANI CSF FAIZANÈ: FILIPPO FIORELLI WINS THE FIRST STAGE OF THE SIBIU TOUR

Filippo Fiorelli conquers the first stage of the Sibiu Tour in Romania. For him also leadership in the general classification and points jersey. First victory of the season for the Sicilian rider.

In the first stage of the Sibiu Tour the success for Bardiani CSF Faizané immediately arrives with an unleashed Filippo Fiorelli who finalizes the teamwork in the best possible way.

First stage from Brezoi to Sibiu with over 200km of race concluded with a restricted sprint and regulated in the group of the best by Filippo Fiorelli. On the last climb of the day forcing and selection that reduces the main group to about fifty units. Compact among them the men of Bardiani CSF Faizané with Filippo Fiorelli who launches along the sprint resisting the return attempt of the other two Italian athletes Dalla Valle and Piccolo.

An excellent performance by the Bardiani CSF Faizané rider who, after finishing sixth at the recent Italian Road Championships, realizes his moment of form with an important success, the first of the season, which also allows him to conquer the leadership of the general classification.

"A victory that I reached after many attempts this year. I felt really good and since this morning I told my teammates and directors that I would do the race and the sprint. I finally got unlocked, because already from the Giro di Sicily I was in good condition, I went out for a bad day at the Giro d'Italia, but I immediately returned to the Tour of Norway and then to Slovenia and the Italian. Finally here in Sibiu I have reaped the first fruits. I have to thank my teammates who have all done a splendid job, some from afar like Battaglin, some on the climb like Martinelli, some on the final train like Marcellusi and Colnaghi. And my DS who have always supported me and believed in me, just like my mother. With the victory the leader's jersey also arrived, but the general classification is not our primary objective, even if tomorrow I will also be at the service of my most skilled climbing team mates and we will see what happens. "
