The CPA welcomes the Australian Association of Professional Cyclist

In 2019 the International Riders' Association has expanded its network worldwide. After the riders’ associations born in Belgium (BPCA), Poland (SKZP), in the United Kingdom (BIPCA) and, for the women's sector, in France (AFCC), the CPA congratulates the birth of the Australian Association of Professional Cyclist which has officially seen the light in late November.

The new continental union was born by the will of the "aussie” riders, who named as their president Adam Hansen, an active athlete who holds the record of 20 consecutive participations in the Grand Tours and who’s also a successful entrepreneur in different sectors. The Lotto Soudal rider will work with some colleagues and members of the newly elected board like Jack Haig, Luke Durbridgeand Rory Sutherland.

From now on, all the Australian riders will be able to count on their national union to solve problems related to their job and they will count more within the CPA, thanks to a representative who will become a member of the Steering Committee of the International Riders' Association.
«We are happy with the birth of a new riders’ association because being physically present in the country of the athletes is fundamental to protect and improve the working conditions of the men and women cyclists. In order for our work to be effective, it’s necessary a direct contact with the riders, which only the associations belonging to the CPA can guarantee - comments the president of the CPA Gianni Bugno. - In the new year we will continue with the creation of new associations in countries where they do not yet exist, to create an ever larger and more united network of unions».

The two-time world champion in view of Christmas and the new year takes the opportunity to send his best wishes to all the men and women cyclists that he represents: «The CPA wants to involve the athletes more and more in the activities of the union. Only through the national associations the movement will be enriched with bodies capable of appropriately defend the rights of the riders all over the world. I take this opportunity to thank all the athletes who attended the meetings that the CPA has organised during the training camps before the holidays. Best wishes to all for a successful 2020 season».

Le CPA accueille l'Association Australienne des Cyclistes Professionnels

En 2019, l'Association des coureurs professionnelle a étendu son réseau dans le monde entier. Après les associations de coureurs nées en Belgique (BPCA), en Pologne (SKZP), au Royaume-Uni (BIPCA) et, pour le secteur féminin, en France (AFCC), le CPA se félicite pour la naissance de l'Association australienne des cyclistes professionnels qui a officiellement vu le jour à fin novembre.

La nouvelle union continentale est née de la volonté des coureurs "australiens", qui ont nommé comme leur président Adam Hansen, un athlète actif qui détient le record de 20 participations consécutives au Grand Tours et qui est également un entrepreneur de succès dans différents secteurs. Le coureur du Lotto Soudal travaillera avec autres collègues et membres du conseil d'administration qui viennent d’être  élus comme Jack Haig, Luke Durbridge et Rory Sutherland.

Désormais, tous les coureurs australiens pourront compter sur leur syndicat national pour résoudre les problèmes liés à leur métier et ils compteront davantage au sein du CPA, grâce à un représentant qui deviendra membre du comité directeur de l’association des coureurs internationale.
«Nous sommes heureux de la naissance d'une nouvelle association de coureurs car être physiquement présent dans le pays des athlètes est fondamental pour protéger et améliorer les conditions de travail des cyclistes hommes et femmes. Pour que notre travail soit efficace, il faut un contact direct avec les coureurs, que seules les associations membres du CPA peuvent garantir - commente le président du CPA Gianni Bugno. - Au cours de la nouvelle année, nous poursuivrons la création de nouvelles associations dans les pays où elles n'existent pas encore, afin de créer un réseau de syndicats de plus en plus grand et uni».

Le double champion du monde en vue de Noël et de la nouvelle année en profite pour adresser ses meilleurs vœux à tous les cyclistes hommes et femmes qu'il représente: «Le CPA veut impliquer de plus en plus les athlètes dans les activités du syndicat. Ce n'est que par le biais des associations nationales que le mouvement sera enrichi d'organismes capables de défendre de manière appropriée les droits des coureurs du monde entier. J'en profite pour remercier tous les athlètes qui ont assisté aux réunions que le CPA a organisées lors des camps d'entraînement avant les vacances. Les meilleurs vœux à tous pour une sensationnelle saison 2020».

Si chiude nel segno della globalizzazione il 2019 dell’Associazione Internazionale dei Corridori. Dopo le associazioni nate in Belgio (BPCA), Polonia (SKZP), nel Regno Unito (BIPCA) e, per il settore femminile, in Francia (AFCC), il CPA si felicita per la nascita dell’Australian Association of Professional Cyclist che ha visto ufficialmente la luce a fine novembre. 

Il nuovo sindacato continentale è stato voluto dai corridori “aussie” che hanno nominato come loro presidente Adam Hansen, atleta in attività che detiene il record di 20 partecipazioni consecutive ai Grandi Giri e imprenditore di successo, anche in settori extraciclismo. Il portacolori della Lotto Soudal lavorerà al fianco dei colleghi e membri del neoeletto consiglio Jack Haig, Luke Durbridge e Rory Sutherland. 

D’ora in avanti tutti i corridori australiani potranno contare sul loro sindacato nazionale per risolvere i problemi legati al loro mestiere e potranno contare di più all’interno del CPA, grazie ad un rappresentante che sarà membro del Comitato Direttivo dell’Associazione dei Corridori Internazionale. 
«Siamo felici della nascita di una nuova associazione, essere presenti fisicamente nel Paese dei nostri associati è fondamentale per tutelare e migliorare le condizioni lavorative di cicliste e ciclisti. Perché il nostro operato sia efficace c’è bisogno di un contatto diretto e capillare, che solo le associazioni facenti parte del CPA possono garantirci» commenta il presidente del CPA Gianni Bugno. - Nel nuovo anno continueremo con la creazione di nuove associazioni di corridori nei paesi dove ancora non esistono, per dare vita ad una  rete di sindacati sempre più grande e unita». 

Il due volte campione del mondo in vista di Natale e dell’anno nuovo coglie l’occasione per mandare i suoi auguri a tutti i ciclisti e le cicliste che rappresenta: «Il CPA vuole coinvolgere sempre più gli atleti nelle attività del sindacato. Solo attraverso le associazioni nazionali il movimento si arricchirà di organismi in grado di contribuire alla difesa dei diritti dei corridori di ogni parte del mondo. Colgo l’occasione per ringraziare tutti i ragazzi e le ragazze che hanno partecipato agli incontri che il CPA ha organizzato durante i training camps prima delle feste. Auguri a tutti e che la stagione 2020 regali a ognuno ciò che desidera».
