DOHA 2016: JAKUB MARECZKO SUL PODIO IRIDATO

La Wilier Triestina – Southeast sale sul podio iridato di Doha 2016 grazie a Jakub Mareczko che ha regalato la seconda medaglia all’Italia.

E’ stato uno sprint tutta potenza quello di Mareczko che, dopo aver fatto a spallate per tenere la ruota del norvegese Halvorsen, ha provato a scavalcarlo negli ultimi metri rimanendo a pochi centimetri dall’oro.

Ai microfoni RAI Jakub Mareczko ha dichiarato “Speravo in uno sprint migliore ma sono comunque contento di questa medaglia, è una grande emozione poter salire sul podio mondiale”.

Questo grande risultato è la conferma del talento di un corridore che si sta imponendo sempre di più nel panorama internazionale nonché motivo d’orgoglio per tutta la squadra, da sempre impegnata a far crescere i giovani.

DOHA 2016: JAKUB MARECZKO CLAIMS BRONZE

Wilier Triestina – Southeast goes on the podium of Doha 2016 with Jakub Mareczko that claimed the second medal for Italy in this edition of the World Championships.

It was a powerful sprint for Mareczko that, after a tough fight to stay on the wheels of the norwegian Halvorsen, wasn’t able to overtake him ending only few cms away from the golden medal.

After the race Mareczko said to RAI, the italian television “I was hoping for a better sprint but I’m happy for this medal, it’s amazing to be on the podium of the World Championships”.

This great result is the confirmation of the talent of a rider that is growing up year by year in the international landscape and also a reason of pride and satisfaction for all the team, always protagonist in the development of young riders.
