Rui Costa ancora all’attacco, 11° a Revel

Rui Costa attacks again, he's 11th in Revel

12 luglio 2016

The 15 riders in the front group beated the opposition of the peloton and their advantage passed the 9'.

However, the situation changed once again at 15 km to the arrival, when Sagan attacked and broke the breakaway in two parts: unfortunately, Rui Costa could not be in the head group, whose members were Sagan, Boasson Hagen, Dumoulin, Van Avermaet, Impey, Durbridge and Matthews, and he reached the finish line in 11th place at 3'10" to the winner Matthews.
