Dubai - Trek-Segafredo rider John Degenkolb has been riding and racing with success his new Project One Madone - he has won two stages at the Challenge Mallorca - and is proud to introduce it now officially to the public while racing at the Dubai Tour.
The new "Chasin' Aces" theme features a Black Moss base color, with subtle pin-striping inspired by John's beloved Café Racer motorcycle outlining the frame. Red fades inside the fork and chain stays pair with hints of silver to complete this limited-edition design.
"For me, my new Madone is one of the most beautiful bikes I have ever ridden. I like this perfect combination between a great color and all the nice details that give me a lot of motivation to keep chasing the aces and adding more of those to my palmares. I have got already two of them and I want to collect some more," said a motivated John Degenkolb.
The bike is similar to the Café Racer Domane offered previously, but with updated design details that complement Madone's unique look. Fans will see John racing the bike this spring, and can make it their own with multiple spec options in Project One. The Chasin' Aces is available on Madone via the Project One customization program. Riders can build their own at projectone.trekbikes.com and order through their local Trek retailer.
