After a highly successful campaign in the Flemish Classics, UAE Team Emirates will head to the Ardennes full of confidence to take on two important objectives: firstly at De Brabantse Pijl on 12 April followed by the Amstel Gold Race on 16 April.
Amstel will be the first race for Tadej Pogačar since his victory at the Ronde Van Vlaanderen and only his second participation in the major Dutch classic.
Pogačar : “The Spring has already been a big success for us but we’re hungry to come to the Ardennes classics and take home a big result, starting with Amstel. It’s a race I’ve only done once but I know it’s a long, hard parcours with lots of climbing so we need to be ready for a tough race.”
For Amstel the team will be led by Team Manager Joxean Matxin Fernandez (Spa) along with Sports Directors Marco Marcato (Ita) and Tomas Gil (Ven). Fabio Baldato (Ita) will take the reigns for Brabantse Pijl.
