TOUR DU POITOU – CHARENTES: MANUEL BELLETTI 2° NELLA 2^ TAPPA

La Wilier Triestina – Southeast si è fermata ad un passo dal tornare al successo nella 2^ tappa del Tour du Poitou – Charentes.

Il merito va a Manuel Belletti che si è piazzato al 2° posto nella volata vinta dal belga Tom Van Asbroeck e caratterizzata da una brutta caduta. Il risultato permette al velocista di risalire in classifica generale fino al 5° posto a 4” dal leader della Lotto Jumbo.

Al buon risultato del romagnolo, giunto alla sedicesima top 10 stagionale, vanno aggiunti il 7° posto di Matteo Busato e il bel tentativo di Yonder Godoy, partito in avanscoperta nel primo dei due giri del circuito finale.

Domani doppio impegno con una frazione ondulata in mattinata e una cronometro individuale nel pomeriggio.

TOUR DU POITOU – CHARENTES: MANUEL BELLETTI ENDS 2ND IN THE 2ND STAGE

Wilier Triestina – Southeast was close to comeback to the victory in the 2nd stage of Tour du Poitou – Charentes.

It was Manuel Belletti who ended 2nd in the sprint won by the belgian Tom Van Asbroeck and ruined by a bad crash who involved many riders. The good result lets our sprinter climbing positions in the general classification where now is 5th only 4” behind the leader of the Lotto Jumbo team.

The good result for the team, with the 16th top 10 in 2016 for the romagnolo rider, is completed by the 7th place of Matteo Busato and by the good attempt of Yonder Godoy who attacked in the first of the two laps of the hard final circuit.

Tomorrow busy day with two stages with some difficulties in the morning and an individual time trial in the afternoon.
