TOUR DE LANGKAWI: PODIO DI MATTEO PELUCCHI, TERZO ALLO SPRINT DELLA QUINTA TAPPA.
Secondo podio stagionale per il team dopo quello conquistato da Marco Benfatto in Argentina. Matteo Pelucchi prova a finalizzare l’ottimo lavoro di squadra in una volata al cardiopalma. Terzo posto al foto finish e vittoria sfiorata, dopo i due piazzamenti in top10 dei precedenti sprint.
Bardiani CSF Faizanè in crescita di condizione nella trasferta Malese. Al Tour de Langkawi, dopo 4 piazzamenti in top10 (2 di Matteo Pelucchi e 2 di Giovanni Lonardi), arriva il primo podio della trasferta malese ad opera del velocista di punta Matteo Pelucchi.
Lo sprinter classe 1989 conosce molto bene il Tour de Langkawi dove nel 2019 piazzò due importanti successi, il primo dei quali proprio nella quinta tappa. Oggi, nella quinta frazione del Tour de Langkawi 2020, ha sfiorato il successo anche grazie all’ottimo lavoro di squadra svolto da tutti i suoi compagni. Ripresa la fuga di giornata il treno della Bardiani CSF Faizanè si è fatto notare in testa al gruppo negli ultimi km portando il suo velocista in buona posizione per lo sprint. Ultima ruota il giovane Giovanni Lonardi che ha rilanciato lo sprint in uscita dall’ultima curva, lasciando quindi strada a Matteo Pelucchi che con un ottimo spunto si è giocato la vittoria finale fino al traguardo, sfiorando il primo successo stagionale.
Tre le tappe al termine del Tour de Langkawi dove non mancheranno altre chance per le ruote veloci del team, in particolare nell’ultima tappa prevista per domenica 16 febbraio, con il circuito finale e arrivo a Kuah.

TOUR DE LANGKAWI: PODIUM OF MATTEO PELUCCHI WITH A THIRD PLACE IN THE SPRINT.
Second podium of the season for the team after the one reached by Marco Benfatto in Argentina. Matteo Pelucchi tries to finalize the excellent teamwork in a heart-pounding sprint. Third place in the photo finish, after the two top 10 placings of the previous sprints.
Bardiani CSF Faizanè growing in condition in the Malaysian trip. At the Tour de Langkawi, after 4 top 10 positions (2 by Matteo Pelucchi and 2 by Giovanni Lonardi), the first podium of the Malaysian trip arrives thanks to the top sprinter Matteo Pelucchi.
The sprinter born in 1989 knows the Tour de Langkawi very well where in 2019 he placed two important successes, the first of them in the fifth stage. Today, in the fifth stage of the Tour de Langkawi 2020, he went very close to the success thanks also to the excellent teamwork done by all his teammates. The Bardiani CSF Faizanè train made good job in the top of the group in the final kilometers, bringing its sprinter in a good position for the sprint. The last wheel is the young Giovanni Lonardi who has relaunched the sprint out of the last corner, thus giving way to Matteo Pelucchi who with an excellent sprint played the final victory up to the finish, touching the first seasonal success.
Three stages at the end of the Tour de Langkawi where there will be other opportunities for the team's fast wheels, especially in the last stage scheduled for Sunday, February 16, with the final circuit and arrival in Kuah.
