Display of collective team strength sets up Lotto Belgium Tour Stage 1 victory for Lorena Wiebes

Lorena Wiebes rounded out a superb display of team strength and spirit to sprint to victory on the opening road stage of the Lotto Belgium Tour.

Controlling the race in the final kilometres, one by one Team DSM raised the pace on the front before delivering Wiebes in a perfect position in the final few hundred metres to power to the line. The result sees Wiebes move up to second overall heading into tomorrow's third stage.
