The big and much anticipated month of July began with a bang as Dylan Groenewegenmade it a dream start for the team at the Tour de France, claiming an emphatic win on stage three in Denmark.
The Dutch fast-man put his hands to his head as he crossed the line, unsure if he’d taken the win, but the emotions soon poured out as his first Tour de France stage win in three years was confirmed.
The 29-year-old notched up his fifth career Tour victory with a typically powerful and well-timed dash to the line after superb work from his Team BikeExchange-Jayco teammates in the finale.

Faulkner conquers the Giro Donne Queen stage & wins the green jersey ???

Kristen Faulkner enjoyed one of her most successful results at the challenge Giro Donne, after demolishing the field to finish first and second (Georgia Baker) on the opening stage time trial, the American rider went on to prove her form, riding out of her skin to win the Queen stage on the penultimate day of racing.
Having been the first rider to wear the Maglia Rosa, Faulkner then went on to secure the overall victory in the points classification for Team BikeExchange-Jayco.

Schultz goes close to first Tour de France victory with a photo finish ??

27-year-old Nick Schultz went agonisingly close to claiming an astonishing stage win in his debut appearance at the Tour de France, as stage 10 came down to a head-to-head bike throw for victory, with Schultz taking a career best result, with a super second place.
The Australian made it into the main break of the day alongside Team BikeExchange-Jayco teammate Jack Bauer and almost walked away with the win after a fierce uphill sprint for the line in Megève.

Matthews takes emphatic solo Tour de France win after two close second place finishes |

Australian Michael Matthews put on a career best performance with a breakaway masterclass, to claim his fourth Tour de France stage victory on stage 14 in Mende.
The victory handed Team BikeExchange-Jayco their second stage win of the Tour after Dylan Groenewegen’s sprint success on stage three, with Matthews showing his grit and determination to bounce back after two painfully tight second place finishes already in the race.

It was a busy and successful month as Team BikeExchange-Jayco wrapped up the 2022 Tour de France proud and satisfied after claiming two phenomenal stage victories with two different riders, and four impressive second place finishes, including the final stage on the Champs Elysées to make it 10 top-10 placings.
Dutch fast-man Dylan Groenewegen went close to making it a fairy tale finish in Paris as he sprinted to a hard-fought second place, capping off a successful three weeks for the Australian squad.

Team Owner Gerry Ryan commits to three more years plus Matthews re-signs through to 2025 |

Recent Tour de France stage 14 winner Michael Matthews will remain at Team BikeExchange-Jayco, having agreed to a three-year contract extension that will see him race with the team until the end of 2025.
The news comes as Team Owner Gerry Ryan confirms his commitment to both the men’s and women’s WorldTour teams for a further three seasons, having supported the organisation since its inception in 2012, creating Australia’s first ever team competing at the highest level in the UCI WorldTour.

It wasn't only the race results that brought good news, during July the team was delighted to share the news of the contract renewal of Vuelta a España champion Simon Yates, through to 2024.
The two-year contract extension will see the 10-time Grand Tour stage winner continue his career with the Australian outfit, after turning professional with the squad nine years ago, back in 2014.
