STRADE BIANCHE, 140 KM ALL’ATTACCO PER SAMUELE ZOCCARATO, 19° FILIPPO ZANA.

Un’altra Strade Bianche all’attacco per Samuele Zoccarato, protagonista in fuga come nella scorsa edizione. Ripreso dal gruppo dei migliori sulla salita Sante Marie. Tra i protagonisti Filippo Zana, a lungo nel gruppetto dei migliori e nella prestigiosa top20 finale.

La Bardiani CSF Faizanè risponde presente alla prestigiosa wild card ricevuta per la Strade Bianche. Nel vivo della corsa prima con Samuele Zoccarato, all’attacco per la seconda edizione consecutiva, e poi con Filippo Zana a lungo nel gruppo dei migliori e 19° finale, in una top20 di altissimo livello.

Samuele Zoccarato: “Quando ho visto la composizione del gruppo in fuga ho deciso di lanciarmi e rientrare sui fuggitivi perché eravamo un drappello di buon livello. Quando il gruppo si è riavvicinato abbiamo continuato a spingere, riducendo il drappello e guadagnando nuovamente. Il mio obiettivo era arrivare più avanti possibile con l’azione d’attacco e poi tenere duro per un piazzamento. Come squadra eravamo davvero molto ben organizzati, con borracce e ruote in ogni settore e questo non è da tutti, mi ha agevolato. Per me si è trattato del secondo anno in fuga, ma dopo una prima esperienza e un primo Giro d’Italia nelle gambe, avevo un’altra forza e consapevolezza.”

Filippo Zana: “Ho corso con i migliori fino al tratto di sterrato 8 quello del Sante Marie quando sono andati via i 5/6 migliori ma io ho tenuto duro. Sono molto soddisfatto della mia Strade Bianche una top20 di grande valore subito dietro ai migliori che si sono giocati la vittoria. Spero di continuare con questa ottima condizione anche in vista dei prossimi appuntamenti.”

STRADE BIANCHE, 140KM IN THE BREAKAWAY FOR SAMUELE ZOCCARATO, FINAL 19TH FILIPPO ZANA.

Another Strade Bianche in the breakaway for Samuele Zoccarato, protagonist of the race as in the last edition. Caught by the top group on the Sante Marie climb. Among the protagonists of the day  Filippo Zana, long in the group of the best and in the prestigious final top20.

Bardiani CSF Faizanè responds to the prestigious wild card received for the Strade Bianche. In the front of the race, first with Samuele Zoccarato, at the attack for the second consecutive edition, and then with Filippo Zana for a long time in the group of the best and 19th final, in a top 20 of the highest level.

These are the words of the #GreenTeam protagonists of the day.

Samuele Zoccarato: “When I saw the composition of the fleeing group, I decided to jump in and return to the fugitives because we were a good level squad. When the group got closer we kept pushing, reducing the numbers of riders I the front and making a strong speed. My goal was to get as far forward as possible with the breakaway action and then hold on for a placement. As a team we were really well organized, with bottles and wheels in every sector and this is not for everyone, it made it easier for me. For me it was the second year on the attack, but after a first experience and a first Giro d’Italia in my legs, I had another strength and awareness of skills.”

Filippo Zana: “I rode with the best ones up to the 8 sector of dirt road, that of the Sante Marie climb when the best 5/6 left but I held out. I am very satisfied with my Strade Bianche, a top 20 of great value, immediately behind the best who fought for the victory. I hope to continue with this excellent condition also in view of the next appointments.”
