Sei nuovi casi COVID-19 negli Emirati Arabi Uniti
I pazienti erano collegati ai due casi precedentemente annunciati associati al Tour degli Emirati Arabi Uniti.
 
Abu Dhabi, 3 marzo 2020 - Il Comitato organizzatore superiore comunica che il Ministero della salute e della prevenzione, MoHAP, ha annunciato sei nuovi casi di coronavirus, COVID-19, negli Emirati Arabi Uniti martedì.

Secondo una dichiarazione rilasciata dal Ministero, i nuovi casi vengono monitorati secondo gli standard dell'Organizzazione mondiale della sanità.

I sei individui con diagnosi di nuovo coronavirus comprendono due russi, due italiani, uno tedesco e uno colombiano. I pazienti erano collegati ai due casi precedentemente annunciati associati all'evento ciclistico, il UAE Tour.

MoHAP ha confermato che i casi vengono monitorati e che le persone sono attualmente in condizioni stabili e ricevono tutte le cure sanitarie necessarie.

Nella sua dichiarazione, il Ministero ha osservato che "sono state esaminate tutte le persone all'interno dei due hotel in quarantena che non avevano alcun contatto diretto con gli atleti e le loro squadre amministrative e che quelli che erano risultati negativi per il coronavirus erano autorizzati a lasciare i locali dell'hotel".

Gli individui attualmente messi in quarantena saranno "riesaminati e testati per il virus per garantire la massima sicurezza", ha continuato MoHAP, aggiungendo che verranno eseguite procedure di disinfezione e sterilizzazione per tutti gli edifici, i servizi e i veicoli.

Il Ministero degli Emirati Arabi Uniti ha affermato che "continua ad aderire ai principi di trasparenza nei suoi rapporti con tutti i casi relativi all'emergere di COVID-19 dal suo scoppio in Cina".

Ha inoltre osservato che tutte le autorità interessate negli Emirati Arabi Uniti hanno unito le forze per monitorare la situazione e prevenire l'ulteriore diffusione del coronavirus.

MoHAP ha assicurato che le strutture mediche sono state dotate di tutte le attrezzature e le forniture mediche necessarie per fornire assistenza e prendere tutte le misure necessarie per trattare la COVID-19, comprese le sale di isolamento per infezione nell'aria, secondo gli standard dell'Organizzazione mondiale della sanità, OMS.

 





Six new COVID-19 cases in the UAE
The patients were connected to the two previously announced cases associated with the UAE Tour.
 

Abu Dhabi, 3 March 2020 – The Higher Organising Committee notifies that the Ministry of Health and Prevention, MoHAP, has announced six new cases of the coronavirus, COVID-19, in the UAE on Tuesday.

According to a statement released by the Ministry, the new cases are being monitored under World Health Organisation standards.

The six individuals diagnosed with the new coronavirus include two Russians, two Italians, one German and one Colombian. The patients were connected to the two previously announced cases associated with the cycling event, the UAE Tour.

MoHAP confirmed that the cases are being monitored, and individuals are currently in a stable condition and are receiving all necessary health care required.

In its statement, the Ministry noted that "all individuals within the two quarantined hotels that had no direct contact with athletes and their administrative teams were examined, and that those that tested negative for the coronavirus were allowed to leave the hotel premises."

Individuals currently quarantined will be "re-examined and tested for the virus to ensure their utmost safety," MoHAP continued, adding that disinfection and sterilisation procedures will be carried out for all buildings, utilities and vehicles.

The UAE Ministry affirmed it "continues to adhere to principles of transparency in its dealings with all cases related to the emergence of COVID-19 since its outbreak in China."

It also noted that all concerned authorities in the UAE have joined forces to monitor the situation, and prevent the further spread of coronavirus.

MoHAP assured that medical facilities have been equipped with all the necessary medical equipment and supplies to provide care and take all measures required to deal with COVID-19, including airborne infection isolation rooms, following World Health Organisation, WHO, standards.
