I GEMELLI CANEPA SONO I DUE NUOVI INGAGGI PER IL 2017 DEL GM EUROPA OVINI
Francesco e Leonardo sono due corridori liguri che affronteranno il loro secondo anno da Under 23 nella squadra #blackandgreen
Arrivano due giovani interessanti nell’organico 2017 del GM Europa Ovini: Francesco e Leonardo Canepa entreranno infatti a far parte della rosa #blackandgreen per la prossima stagione. I due corridori, entrambi 19enni, provengono dalla GB Junior Pedale Castanese, squadra nella quale si sono messi in mostra per le loro qualità di passisti scalatori.
I gemelli Canepa sono originari di Boissano (Sv) e si allenano sulle strade del Trofeo Laigueglia. Francesco si è laureato campione regionale Juniores nel 2015, anno in cui ha ottenuto un terzo posto alla Pinerolo-Sestriere e un terzo alla gara Juniores di Biella. Leonardo ha invece ottenuto un ottimo secondo posto a Capriolo (Bs) e un terzo a Barzago.
“Far parte del GM Europa Ovini è una grande opportunità – afferma Francesco Canepa – in quanto c’è la possibilità di confrontarci sia con i corridori Under 23 che con i professionisti. Io e mio fratello ringraziamo Ezio Panzeri e Gabriele Marchesani per averci offerto questa grande possibilità”.
“Questi due ragazzi possono avere degli ottimi margini di miglioramento – spiega il presidente Gabriele Marchesani – e ci auguriamo che possano mettersi in mostra fin dalle prime gare della prossima stagione. Fin da Juniores hanno dimostrato delle buone doti in salita, quindi ci auguriamo che possano mettersi in evidenza anche sui percorsi più difficili”.

Francesco and Leonardo are two Ligurian riders who will make their second year in the Under-23
There are two young attractive riders for 2017 season of GM Europa Ovini: Francesco and Leonardo Canepa will come in the #blackandgreen team for next season. The two riders, both 19 years old, come from the GB Junior Pedale Castanese, the team where they obtained a lot of placements in the most difficult races.
Canepa twins are born in Boissano (Sv) and the have training on the roads of the Trofeo Laigueglia. Francesco was junior regional champion in 2015, season where finished in third place at Pinerolo-Sestriere, and one third placement in the Biella Junior race. Leonardo has instead got a great second place in Capriolo (Bs) and third in Barzago.
