Today Gazprom-RusVelo rider Damiano Cima claimed a victory at the final stage of Tour of South Bohemia in Czech Republic.

That was a first race for Damiano Cima since the end of May and after coming back after a knee-injury. Damiano won from the bunch sprint at the 185km stage.

"I am super happy to be back after my injury, it was a long time without races, so I can't imaging a better way to start racing again. It was a very fast and demanding stage. My teammates did a great job to place me in a good position on the final lap and all I needed to do was to win the bunch sprint. Everyone was highly motivated and worked hard for this victory. I would like to thank the team for their efforts" — Damiano Cima on his comeback.
