Few hours later the podium obtained in Turkey by Enrico Zanoncello, the first top 5 as a professional arrives for Luca Colnaghi, good at joining a sprint of great specialists and he his the best Italian on the finish line.
The final test of the Challenge Mallorca was supposed to be for fast sprinters, and so it was. Despite some attacks, the big teams controlled the race until the grand final in Palma de Mallorca, where the Belgian Arnaud De Lie prevails.
Luca Colnaghi declares himself satisfied above all with his growth in condition: "First of all I wanted to help Filippo Fiorelli who had already shown a good condition in the previous races, but unfortunately in the final meters we were unable to stay close. Finding myself in front I therefore tried my sprint anyway, taking a good 5th final place. I am above all satisfied with the condition that is improving and growing after the work of these weeks."
