BARDIANI CSF FAIZANÈ: FILIPPO ZANA È IL MIGLIOR GIOVANE DEL TOUR DU LIMOUSIN

Con la quarta tappa si è concluso il Tour du Limousin e Filippo Zana si conferma come miglior giovane della competizione conquistando la prestigiosa maglia bianca. Per lui top10 anche in classifica generale dove chiude al settimo posto.

Il campione italiano Filippo Zana vince la classifica giovani al Tour du Limousin e chiude in 7° posizione in classifica generale. Si è conclusa infatti oggi la quarta e ultima tappa della gara francese e Filippo Zana che oggi ha chiuso 11° di tappa, si conferma come miglior giovane della competizione, vincendo la prestigiosa classifica della maglia bianca. 

Un risultato maturato nella terza frazione, la più complessa, che ha visto un ristretto gruppo di attaccanti emergere dal gruppo a una quarantina di km dal traguardo staccare tutti gli avversari. Tra loro è stato molto bravo a inserirsi Filippo Zana che pur non riuscendo a conquistare la vittoria di tappa è riuscito a collocarsi al settimo posto in classifica generale e al 1° della speciale classifica giovani.

Oggi importante il lavoro della squadra per tenere sotto controllo la gara nella fase centrale della tappa. Quinto posto anche per Luca Covili, nella classifica giovani del Tour du Limousin.

Queste le parole di Filippo Zana:

"Oggi abbiamo controllato bene la gara e alla fine ho sprintato perché erano importanti anche i piazzamenti per conquistare definitivamente questa bella maglia. La condizione è buona e il mio obiettivo è provarci ancora nelle prossime gare per cercare una vittoria con la maglia tricolore."

The Tour du Limousin ended with the fourth stage and Filippo Zana confirms himself as the best youngster in the competition by winning the prestigious white jersey. For him top 10 also in the general classification where he closes in seventh place.

The Italian champion Filippo Zana wins the youth classification at the Tour du Limousin and finishes in 7th position in the general classification. In fact, the fourth and last stage of the French race ended today and Filippo Zana, who today finished 11th in the stage, confirms himself as the best young riders in the competition, winning the prestigious classification of the white jersey.

A result reached in the third stage, the most difficult one, which saw a small group of forwards emerge from the group about forty km from the finish line, detaching all their opponents. Among them was very good to fit Filippo Zana who, despite failing to win the stage, managed to place himself in seventh place in the general standings and 1st in the special young standings.

Fifth place also for Luca Covili in the white jersey ranking.

Filippo Zana: "Today we controlled the race well and in the end I sprinted because the placements were also important to finally conquer this important jersey. The condition is good and my goal is to try again in the next races to look for a victory with the Italian jersey."
