BARDIANI CSF FAIZANÈ: ALESSIO MARTINELLI CONQUISTA IL GP INDUSTRIE DEL MARMO

Terza vittoria stagionale per Alessio Martinelli, che dopo il GP Alanya e la cronoscalata della Carpathian Race conquista anche il GP Industrie del Marmo, confermando il suo ottimo stato di forma. In contemporanea nella terza frazione del Giro d’Italia 12° posto per Filippo Fiorelli allo sprint.

Il ventunenne Alessio Martinelli conferma il suo ottimo stato di forma e conquista la vittoria del GP Industrie del Marmo vincendo la volata ristretta dei tre attaccanti. 

Gara che si accende dopo i primi 60 km con 25 atleti che si lanciano in avanscoperta tra loro Marcellusi, Pinarello e Martinelli della Bardiani CSF Faizanè. Sull’ultima salita scattano in 4 tra loro Alessio Martinelli che riesce poi a regolare la volata ristretta. Per il ventunenne della Bardiani CSF Faizanè si tratta del terzo successo stagionale dopo la vittoria del GP Alanya e della cronoscalata della Carpathian Race. Un buon viatico di successi in gare Under23 internazionali e prestigiose, in vista del principale obiettivo stagionale: il Giro d’Italia Under23.

Queste infatti le parole di Alessio Martinelli dopo la vittoria:

“È stata una giornata dura sin dalla seconda salita di giornata con un buon ritmo siamo andati via un buon gruppetto. Dietro non c’era molto accordo e siamo riusciti a guadagnare un buon vantaggio. Alessandro Pinarello ha fatto un ottimo lavoro tirando per scremare il gruppo. Siamo poi andati via in pianura in 4 e sull’ultima salita ha fatto il forcing l’atleta tedesco. Io ho tenuto le ruote vincendo poi una volata davvero combattuta, ma non importa di quanti cm, conta vincere. Voglio ringraziare i miei compagni che hanno contribuito con il loro aiuto al mio successo.”

Nel mentre in Ungheria, si è svolta la terza frazione del Giro d’Italia, l’ultima in terra Ungherese, di 201 km prevalentemente pianeggianti con arrivo sul lago Balaton. Come da previsioni è arrivo allo sprint, lanciato a forte velocità. Filippo Fiorelli chiude in 12^ posizione di giornata.

For the twenty-one year old from Bardiani CSF Faizanè this is the third success of the season after the victory of the GP Alanya and the success in the time trial of the Carpathian Race. A good amount  of successes in international and prestigious Under23 races, in view of the main goal of the season: the Giro d’Italia Under23.

In fact, these are the words of Alessio Martinelli after the victory:

“It has been a tough day since the second ascent of the day with a good pace we left a good group. There was not much collaboration behind in the group and we managed to gain a good advantage. Alessandro Pinarello did a great job pulling to skim the group. We then went off on the flat in 4 and on the last climb the German athlete made a grea forcing. I kept the wheels and then won a really hard-fought sprint, but no matter how many cm, what counts is winning. I want to thank my teammates who have contributed with their help to my success. "

Meanwhile in Hungary, the third stage of the Giro d’Italia took place, the last in Hungary, of mainly flat 201 km with arrival on Lake Balaton. As expected, he arrived at the sprint, launched at high speed. Bravo to fit Filippo Fiorelli who closes in 12th position of the day.
