BARDIANI CSF FAIZANÈ: 4° POSTO DI ENRICO ZANONCELLO AL TOUR OF ANTALYA

Buona volata oggi al Tour of Antalya di Enrico Zanoncello, che ha provato a coronare un ottimo lavoro di squadra, chiudendo in 4° posizione. In mattinata al Tour of Oman protagonista Samuele Zoccarato attivo in numerosi attacchi, mentre Filippo Zana conserva la top10 in classifica generale.

TOUR OF ANTALYA:

Nell’ultima tappa del Tour of Antalya Enrico Zanoncello chiude al 4° posto nonostante un finale complicato. Coinvolto in una caduta ai -20km dal traguardo, grazie al prezioso lavoro dei suoi compagni riesce a rientrare sulla testa del gruppo, evitando per un soffio una seconda caduta occorsa ai -3km dal traguardo. Grazie a un buono sprint finale coglie la quarta piazza di giornata alle spalle di Mareczko, vincitore di giornata, De Kleijn e Malucelli.

Queste le parole di Enrico Zanoncello al traguardo: “Si oggi mi sentivo bene e per questo sono un pò rammaricato del quarto posto, ma è stata dura esserci. Sono rimasto coinvolto in una caduta ai -20 km e ho avuto un altro problema ai -3km, non è stato facile come arrivo ma mi sentivo bene, la mi condizione è in crescita.”

Per lui si tratta del secondo piazzamento in questo Tour of Antalya, dopo l’ottavo posto della prima frazione. L’atleta veneto è inoltre già andato a podio in questa stagione, con il secondo posto al GP Megasaray.

La Bardiani CSF Faizanè in mattinata è stata impegnata anche nella quarta tappa del Tour of Oman, con Samuele Zoccarato tra i più attivi in una giornata di numerose fughe e attacchi lui è sempre presente conquistando ben 3 dei 6 GPM di giornata e cedendo il passo al primissimo gruppetto degli 8 migliori di giornata solo sull’ultima salita. L’atleta veneto è infatti ora secondo nella speciale classifica della combattività. Per la classifica generale si muovono bene Filippo Zana e Luca Covili che rimangono nel primo gruppetto inseguitore a meno di 20 secondi dagli 8 leader di giornata e a circa 1 minuto e 20 dal vincitore Fausto Masnada.

Vince per distacco con una bella azione solitaria Fausto Masnada (Quick-Step), conquistando anche la leadership in classifica generale. 16° di tappa Filippo Zana, ora 10° (a paritempo con altri 5 atleti), in classifica generale. 21° giornata Luca Covili.
