Today Gazprom-RusVelo rider Artem Nych claimed a road race victory at the Russian National Championship, which was held in Penza. Ilnur Zakarin finished second and Ivan Rovny took the bronze medal.

“It was quite a tough race today, hot weather all day long and the fight for the victory was until the final kilometer. I was in a good shape and was expecting to demonstrate the result and try to clinch a podium. I am happy to win this title, this victory means a lot to me.
