Partiti dall’Argentina per poi passare alla Colombia e all’Italia. In questi giorni gli impegni di Amore e Vita – Prodir si fanno doppi. Sempre più intensi e prestigiosi.
Mentre dall’altra parte del globo, Marco Zamparella sta guidando una selezione del team alla Tour Colombia 2.1 in modo egregio, tant’è vero che nella seconda e nella terza tappa vinte entrambe dal velocista colombiano Molano (del team world tour UAE Emirates), si sono ottenuti ottimi piazzamenti nella top 15 (13° e 14° posto) con lo sprinter lettone Maris Bogdanovics(anche se purtroppo c’è da registrare l’ennesima caduta a pochi chilometri dall’arrivo del leader Davide Appollonio, molto sfortunato in questo inizio stagione e costretto al ritiro). In Italia intanto, tutto è pronto per la classica d’apertura del calendario italiano, il Trofeo Laigueglia, una delle corse più antiche e prestigiose del nostro paese.
Una gara molto cara alla famiglia Fanini, visto che in passato su questo arrivo, ha visto trionfare in ben due edizioni consecutive i suoi atleti (1988 con Paolo Cimini e 1989 con Pierino Gavazzi in maglia di campione italiano).
Il Team non nasconde di avere velleità ambiziose per questa corsa, soprattutto con l’altro leader della squadra, ovvero Marco Tizza, che subito dopo la Vuelta San Juan in Argentina, è voluto tornare in Italia, saltando il Colombia 2.1, proprio con l’obbiettivo di far bene a questa manifestazione. Il Trofeo Laigueglia è veramente un “chiodo fisso” nelle ambizioni del talentuoso ciclista lombardo e per questo ha passato buona parte del suo inverno proprio in questa zona, per allenarsi appositamente sul percorso della corsa e conoscerne metro dopo metro tutti i dettagli.
Tizza è in ottime condizioni e potrà sicuramente essere tra i protagonisti di giornata. Vincere non è difficile, è difficilissimo. Soprattutto per il parterre “stellare” che ci sarà al via. Ma nello sport non c’è mai niente di scritto o di impossibile, quindi Tizza sarà decisamente un osso duro, molto pericoloso per tutti quelli che puntano ad ottenere il massimo risultato.
Sull’ammiraglia ci saranno i d.s. Starchyk e Giorgini, che dirigeranno al meglio gli atleti schierati al fianco di Marco Tizza, ovvero Andrea Meucci, Kaspars Sregis, Kristaps Pelcers, Yukinori Hishinuma ed il neo acquisto lussemburghese Charly Petelin.
Il team è pronto, ed il più pronto di tutti è proprio Marco Tizza che si preannuncia desideroso alla battaglia fino all’ultimo metro per coronare quello che è sempre stato uno dei suoi sogni più grandi fin da quando era dilettante.English version:
AMORE E VITA - PRODIR READY FOR THE EUROPEAN DEBUT IN THE OPENING CLASSIC OF THE ITALIAN CALENDAR: THE LAIGUEGLIA TROPHY
New season started in Argentina and then moved on in Colombia and now also in Italy.
In these days the racing commitments of Amore e Vita - Prodir are doubled, increasingly intense and very prestigious.
While on the other side of the globe, Marco Zamparella is leading a selection of the team at Tour Colombia 2.1 in an excellent way, in Italy, everything is ready for the opening classic of the Italian calendar, the Laigueglia Trophy, one of the oldest and most prestigious race in our country.
In Colombia the team achieved two excellent results in the top 15 results in stage 2 and 3, (both won by the Colombian sprinter of world tour team, Molano) with the Latvian Maris Bogdanovic. Although team’s leader Davide Appollonio struggled once again against misfortune. He crashed very badly in the second stage at few kilometers to go and was forced to quit the race. Appollonio is definitely very unfortunate in this early start of season. Now eyes are focused also on Laigueglia (UCI Pro Series), a race that is really important to the Fanini family, given that in the past athletes of our team triumphed in two consecutive editions: in 1988 with Paolo Cimini ahead of team mate Alessio Di Basco (whon today is the technical director of the squad) and in 1989 with Pierino Gavazzi.
Team A&V | P doesn’t hide to have high ambitions for this race, especially with the other team leader, Marco Tizza, who immediately after the Vuelta San Juan in Argentina, wanted to return to Italy, with the aim to do well at this event. The Laigueglia Trophy is truly a "fixed nail" in the ambitions of the talented Italian cyclist, and for this he has spent a good part of his winter in this area, to train specifically on the course of the race and get to know all the details meter by meter.
Tizza is in excellent condition and will certainly be among the protagonists of the day. Winning is not difficult, it’s actually very difficult. Especially for the "stellar" parterre that will be at the start. But in sport anything is ever written already or impossible, so Tizza will definitely be a tough underdog, very dangerous for all those who aim to achieve maximum results.
Starchyk and Giorgini will direct the athletes lined up alongside of Marco Tizza. The squad will be composed by Andrea Meucci, Kaspars Sregis, Kristaps Pelcers, Yukinori Hishinuma and the new A&V rider, the Luxembourg climber Charly Petelin.
The team is ready, and the most ready of all Marco Tizza, who promises to be ready to battle until the last meter, in order to realize what has always been one of his biggest dreams since he was an amateur.
