FESTA DI COMPLEANNO SUL PODIO PER VALENTINA CORVI: TERZA TRA LE JUNIORES A NALLES

NALLES (BZ), 01/04/2023 – Brindisi di compleanno sul podio di Nalles per la junior Valentina Corvi, che ha chiuso al terzo posto la Marlene Sudtirol Sunshine Race, prova Hors Categorie valida come quarto atto del circuito Italia Bike Cup Chaoyang.

A precedere la 18enne italiana (nella foto a fianco di Alessio Pederiva) solo le austriache Katrin Embacher ed Eva Herzog, capaci di rientrare sulla campionessa italiana, autrice di una partenza al fulmicotone.

Oltre al trofeo per la terza classificata, Valentina Corvi si porta a casa anche la maglia di leader del circuito, dove ora guida la classifica generale con un buon margine di sicurezza sulla bergamasca Elisa Lanfranchi e sulla ex leader Gaia Gasperini.

Restando in campo femminile, la prova Open ha visto la bellunese Giorgia Marchet chiudere al quinto posto, quarta tra le Donne Elite, mentre Lucia Bramati ed Eva Lechner hanno chiuso rispettivamente in 20° e 21° posizione: per la giovane Bramati un piazzamento che le vale la settima piazza tra le Under 23.

Tra gli Open, invece, Gioele Bertolini ha terminato quindicesimo una prova dominata dagli stranieri: il valtellinese ha chiuso a una trentina di secondi dalla top 10.

I primi a misurarsi sul tracciato caratterizzato dalla salita dell’Usignolo sono stati però gli juniores. La prima maglia del Trinx Factory Team a tagliare il traguardo è stata quella di Marco Guerlinena, diciassettesimo assoluto e quinto tra i ragazzi classe 2006. Trentaquattresima piazza per Daniele Corvi, con Marco Bramati 38°.

Podio agrodolce in Croazia invece per Vita Movrin (nella foto a fianco di Jonny Mole), che ha chiuso al terzo posto la XCO Premantura Rocky Trails, gara di classe 1.

La 22enne slovena ha forato due volte quando era in testa, perdendo la possibilità di giocarsi il successo.

La prestazione conferma però il suo buon momento di forma che le aveva permesso di essere protagonista tre settimane fa alla Sparta Mtb Race, dove ha colto due terzi posti, tra cui quello nella prova Hors Categorie di sabato 11 marzo.

BIRTHDAY PARTY ON THE PODIUM FOR VALENTINA CORVI: THIRD PLACE AMONG THE JUNIORS IN NALS

NALS (BZ),  1st April 2023 – Birthday toast on the podium in Nals for the junior Valentina Corvi, who finished third in the Marlene Sudtirol Sunshine Race, Hors Categorie race valid as the Italia Bike Cup Chaoyang fourth round.

Only Katrin Embacher and Eva Herzog preceded the 18-year-old from Tirano (in the photo alongside by Alessio Pederiva): the two Austrians bikers were able to get back on the Italian champion, author of a lightning start.

In addition to the trophy for the third classified, Valentina Corvi also takes home the leader's jersey of the circuit, where she now leads the general classification with a good safety margin over Elisa Lanfranchi and the former leader Gaia Gasperini.

Remaining in the women's race, among the Opens Giorgia Marchet finished in fifth place, fourth among the Elite Women, while Lucia Bramati and Eva Lechner ended respectively in 20th and 21st position: for the young Bramati a placement that gave her the seventh place among the Under 23s.

In the men competition, Gioele Bertolini finished fifteenth in a race dominated by foreigners: the biker from Talamona ended with a delay of almost 30” from the top 10.

The first to compete on the track characterized by the Usignolo climb were the juniors. The first Trinx Factory Team jersey to cross the finish line was the one of Marco Guerlinena, seventeenth overall and fifth among the boys born in 2006. Thirty-fourth place for Daniele Corvi, with Marco Bramati 38th.

Bittersweet podium in Croatia instead for Vita Movrin (in the photo alongside by Jonny Mole), who finished the XCO Premantura Rocky Trails, class 1 race, in third place. The 22- year-old Slovenian punctured twice when she was leading, losing the chance to fight for the success.

However, the performance confirms her good shape that had allowed her to be the protagonist three weeks ago at the Sparta Mtb Race, where she took two third places, including the one in the Hors Categorie test on Saturday 11 March.
