PARTENZA STORICA PER IL “GIRO ROSA 2017”
UNA SPETTACOLARE CRONOMETRO A SQUADRE DA AQUILEIA A GRADO ASSEGNERA’ LA PRIMA MAGLIA ROSA

Giornate storiche quelle di giovedì 29 e venerdì 30 giugno 2017 per Aquileia e Grado che si apprestano ad ospitare la presentazione ufficiale delle atlete partecipanti al GIRO ROSA 2017 ed allo svolgimento della prima tappa. Giovedì 29 giugno 2017 Aquileia che con  la sua immensa area archeologica e la straordinaria Basilica Patriarcale è un preziosissimo scrigno di arte e storia, si abbinerà al Giro Rosa 2017 con la presentazione nell’ambito della Piazza antistante la Basilica di tutte le atlete facenti parte delle 23 squadre che andranno a costituire il roster dell’evento.
 
A sua volta Grado, altrettanto noto centro turistico e termale, conosciuta con l’Isola del Sole e per la sua particolare storia identificabile come la “Prima Venezia”, prevede l’arrivo della prima tappa a cronometro. La gara a tappe inserita nell’U.C.I. Women’s World Tour per la prima volta nella sua storia, prenderà il via con una spettacolare cronometro a squadre con partenza fissata ad Aquileia, ed arrivo a Grado, in Provincia di Gorizia; 12 i chilometri totali da percorrere, lungo la meravigliosa cornice naturale costituita dalla Laguna di Grado.  L’arrivo è previsto proprio davanti al Municipio di Grado a testimoniare una significatività internazionale di questo evento, considerato che oltre un centinaio di atleti provengono da Paesi esteri.
 
L'evento nel suo complesso è stato promosso e sarà coordinato da Enzo Cainerocon il supporto dell’Amministrazione Regionale, ed in particolare dall’Assessorato al Turismo di competenza del Vice-Presidente Regionale Sergio Bolzonello. Il tutto a conclusione di un accurato sopralluogo del Direttore del Giro Giuseppe Rivolta ed Enzo Cainero alla presenza dei referenti delle Amministrazioni di Aquileia e Grado nelle persone dell’ing. Natale Guerra e del dott. Gianluca Venier, presente anche il Vice Sindaco Matteo Polo. L’accordo per l’organizzazione di questa suggestiva prova contro il tempo, che assegnerà la prima maglia rosa, è stato pertanto siglato dal patron del “Giro Rosa” Giuseppe Rivolta con i Sindaci di Aquileia Gabriele Spanghero e di Grado Dario Raugna, entusiasti di accogliere sulle proprie strade una manifestazione così prestigiosa. 

 HISTORICAL START FOR GIRO ROSA 2017: A SPECTACULAR TEAM TIME TRIAL FROM AQUILEIA TO GRADO WILL ASSIGN THE FIRST MAGLIA ROSA

The 28th and 29th June will be Two historical days for the cities of Aquileia and Grado, ready to organize the Team Presentation and the First stage of the 2017 Edition of the Giro Rosa. On Thursday 28th Aquileia and its big archaeological area and Basilica, a treasure of art and history, will host for the presentation of the 23 teams that will run the Giro.
 
As well Grado, famous Thermal and Bathing town known as the “Island of the Sun” and for its particular history that names it as the “First Venice”, is going to be the finish of the first stage. For the first time in its history, the Giro Rosa (Race of the UCI Women’s World Tour) will begin with a spectacular Team Time Trial Aquileia – Grado: 12 km along the coast and the natural area of the magnificent Laguna di Grado. The finish line will be in front of the Municipality Building of Grado, as to mean the International quality of this race, with more than 100 athletes coming from all over the world. The event is promoted and will be coordinated by Enzo Cainerowith the support of the Regional Administration, especially the Tourism Department directed by the Regional Vice-President Sergio Bolzonello.
 
An accurate inspection with the Giro Director Giuseppe Rivolta, Enzo Cainero and the referents of Aquileia and Grado Natale Guerra and Gianluca Venier, together with the Vice Major Matteo Polo, took place some days ago. The deal to realize this spectacular Team Time Trial has been signed by Giuseppe Rivolta with the Two Majors of Aquileia and Grado Gabriele Spanghero and Dario Raugna, very enthusiast to welcome an International Sport Event on their roads.
