Mercoledì 10 febbraio si chiudono le pre-iscrizioni alla ventesima edizione de L’Eroica 

Gaiole in Chianti (SI), 9 febbraio 2016 - Scade alle ore 24 di mercoledì 10 febbraio il termine ultimo per le pre iscrizioni gratuite ( http://www.eroicagaiole.it/iscrizioni-eroica-2016 ) alla ventesima edizione de L’Eroica, in programma a Gaiole in Chianti domenica 2 ottobre 2016. Le pre iscrizioni sono requisito fondamentale per partecipare all'assegnazione dei posti disponibili attraverso CLICK DAYS dedicati alle diverse categorie di partecipanti, compresi uomini over 65 e donne ( http://www.eroicagaiole.it/regolamento-eroica ).
Sono molte le novità che caratterizzano l’edizione 2016 de L’Eroica ad iniziare dal nuovo percorso di 125 km nella zone del Chianti Classico Gallo Nero e dalla prima edizione del Concorso d'Eleganza per premiare le biciclette e i ciclisti più autentici. 
 
L’Eroica
L’Eroica è nata per amore verso quel ciclismo che fece scrivere un bel po’ di storia e tanta letteratura italiana con l’intento di ricercare le radici autentiche di uno sport bellissimo, con una grande anima popolare, nonché per riscoprire la bellezza della fatica. L’Eroica è una anche una Fondazione tra i cui scopi c'è la salvaguardia del patrimonio di strade bianche della Toscana.
Da queste concezioni romanticamente attuali è scaturita l’idea della Manifestazione ciclistica nata nel 1997. Al via, all’epoca, furono in 92 i “cacciatori di sentimenti e emozioni “; oggi l’Eroica è un esempio di valorizzazione del Patrimonio ambientale, di Stile di Vita Sostenibile, di ciclismo pulito che guardando al passato indica il futuro: lo testimoniano i numeri di un successo dovuto alla passione dei suoi organizzatori e ideatori. 
Oltre 5000 iscritti a numero chiuso, 15000 persone l’indotto compreso le Famiglie. Per sottolineare l’impegno nello sviluppo della educazione alla sostenibilità ambientale si è voluto dare spazio a un’area dedicata alle Aziende che si impegnano particolarmente in questo settore.
E’ solo un altro esempio di come il concetto dell’Eroica possa essere quanto mai attuale.

On Wednesday, 10 February, pre-registration for the twentieth edition of L’Eroica will close
At midnight on Wednesday 10 February, free pre-registration for L’Eroica (http://www.eroicagaiole.com/registration-eroica-2016) will close. The twentieth edition of the event will take place in Gaiole in Chianti on Sunday 2 October 2016. Pre-registration is mandatory if you wish to gain a place in the ride through the CLICK DAYS dedicated to each different category of participant, including women and over 65 men (http://www.eroicagaiole.com/regulation).
Lots of new features will be added to the 2016 edition of L’Eroica, starting from the new 125 km route through the Chianti Classico Gallo Nero region as well as the first edition of the Concours d'Elegance to award the most authentic bicycles and cyclists. 
 
L’Eroica
L'Eroica was born from the love of that cycling that formed a good part of the history and literature of Italy. The idea was to seek out the authentic roots of this fantastic sport, with its big, working-class heart, and rediscover the beauty of fatigue and the thrill of the conquest. L'Eroica is also a Foundation, the purpose of which is to safeguard the heritage of the white gravel roads of Tuscany. From these romantically modern notions came the idea of the cycling event that started in 1997. 
At the starting line that first year, there were 92 "thrill-seekers"; today L'Eroica is a paragon, enhancing our environmental heritage, and setting an example of sustainable living and clean cycling which, inspired by the past, points the way for the future. The numbers participating nowadays are testimony to its success, which is largely due to the passion of its organisers and founders. 
Over 5,000 cyclists registered and 15,000 people involved if we count their families. To highlight our commitment to building a sustainable environment, we have created a space for companies particularly involved in this sector. This is just another example of how L'Eroica is always up to date.
