3 April 2020, Alta Badia (Bolzano): Given the COVID-19 emergency and in light of the difficult situation that has arisen in the country and internationally, the Organizing Committee of the Maratona dles Dolomites-Enel has decided to cancel the event for this year and reschedule for 4th July 2021, the day on which we will “complete the artwork” when the 34th edition of the Maratona dles Dolomites-Enel will take place.
Dedicated to art, this edition of Maratona dles Dolomites-Enel will remain an unfinished artwork for 2020. After all, it is well known that the greatest work of art cannot be completed in a short time!
The Maratona is a party, a bike party, a party of people who love cycling and who come from all over the world to meet and ride in the heart of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. But unfortunately, right now is not the time to party: it is a difficult time for everyone, it’s the time to help and encourage each other. Next year we will return and we’re determined to make it a special moment for all of us.
The Organizing Committee has decided to give all those who registered for the event, whether or not they have completed their registration, the opportunity to retain their registration for 2021.
Details on how to validate the registration will be communicated by the end of April on the website www.maratona.it, on the social pages of the event and by email to each subscriber.
