La formazione diretta da Ronny Lauke si aggiudica la prima tappa del 30° Giro Rosa Iccrea davanti al Team Bigla e alla CCC - Liv. La polacca Katarzyna Niewiadoma veste la Maglia Rosa.

E' la squadra tedesca a dominare la prima tappa del Giro Rosa Iccrea 2019, chiusa con il tempo record di 31'41''. A 25'' di ritardo la Bigla di Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig, a lungo in testa durante la gara, mentre la formazione CCC-Liv di Marianne Vos completa il podio al terzo posto con un ritardo di 45''. Terminano quarta e quinta la Mitchelton - Scott di Annemiek Van Vleuten e la Boels - Dolmans di Anna Van der Breggen.

Mikayla Harvey, neozelandese del Team Bigla, veste la maglia bianca, mentre Elisa Longo Borghini veste la maglia blu come migliore italiana.

CANYON-SRAM WINS THE OPENING TEAM TIME TRIAL 

The Team directed by Ronny Lauke wins the stage 1 of the 30th Giro Rosa Iccrea, beating the Team Bigla and the CCC-Liv. The Polish rider Katarzyna Niewiadoma wears the Pink Jersey.

The German Team domeniates the opening stage of the Giro Rosa Iccrea 2019, (Cassano Spinola - Castellania, 18 kms) with the record time of 31'41''. 25'' of gap for the Bigla Team of Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig, race leader for a long time, then the CCC-Liv of Marianne Vos completes the podium in third position. Mitchelton - Scott of Annemiek Van Vleuten and the Boels - Dolmans di Anna Van der Breggen. 

Mikayla Harvey (Bigla) from New Zealand is the best young rider and Elisa Longo Borghini is the best Italian.

Today's stage will be broadcasted by PMG with highlights on 70 tv platforms of the Eurovision Group, including Eurosport. Rai Sport will broadcast the highlights at 8 PM. BUONGIORNO DA CASSANO SPINOLA

Si apre in Provincia di Alessandria il 30° Giro Rosa Iccrea, con una cronometro a squadre da Cassano Spinola a Castellania sulla distanza di 18 km al termine della quale verrà assegnata la prima Maglia Rosa. 

Numerose squadre puntano al massimo risultato, tra le quali Boels - Dolmans, Trek - Segafredo, Mitchelton - Scott, Bigla e Team Sunweb sul tracciato interamente vallonato con due salite da pendenze anche impegnative, l'ultima verso l'arrivo. La prima squadra a partire sarà la Conceria Zabri - Fanini alle 14:30 e seguiranno i successivi teams ogni tre minuti. Chiuderà l'elenco la Boels - Dolmans alle ore 15:39. Il tempo verrà preso sulla 4° atleta di ogni squadra.

GOOD MORNING FROM CASSANO SPINOLA

The 30th Giro Rosa Iccrea opens in the Province of Alessandria with a Team Time Trial from Cassano Spinola to Castellania for 18 kms where, at the end of it, the first Maglia Rosa will be assigned. 
Numerous roads have the best results as target, like Boels - Dolmans, Trek - Segafredo, Mitchelton - Scott, Bigla and Team Sunweb on the hilly route. There are two climbs with tough slopes, the last one goes until the finish line in Castellania. The first team at the start will be Conceria Zabri - Fanini at 2:30 PM, the remaining teams will leave every three minutes. Boels - Dolmans will be the last at 3:39 PM. The time at the finish will be taken to the 4th rider of every team.
