VOLATA REGALE DI MARIANNE VOS A NOLA VULCANO BUONO

Marianne Vos cala il tris al Giro Rosa: la sesta tappa, 97.5 chilometri da Torre del Greco a Nola-Vulcano Buono, si è conclusa in volata, come largamente prevedibile e la campionessa olandese non si è fatta aspettare. Sul traguardo caldissimo di Nola-Vulcano Buono, Marianne Vos ha preceduto nettamente allo sprint Hanna Barnes e Lotte Kopecky. Annemiek Van Vleuten ha controllato la corsa, mantenendo la maglia rosa per il quinto giorno consecutivo.

Dopo il via, avvenuto alle 12:00 da Torre del Greco, le atlete hanno incontrato strade affollate da tantissimi appassionati, nonostante il caldo asfissiante che questo finale di estate sta regalando alla corsa femminile più importante al mondo. La vittoria finale di Vos era stata preannunciata da una incredibile azione del team CCC-Liv a metà corsa. Alcune atlete hanno provato a movimentare la gara, soprattutto nei chilometri finali, purtroppo senza alcuna fortuna. L'attacco che ha tenuto con il fiato sospeso il pubblico è avvenuto ai meno trenta chilometri dal traguardo quando a uscire dal plotone è stata Maria Novodolskaya, per lei un vantaggio massimo di 28''. Ai meno due dal traguardo, però, il gruppo si è ricompattato per la volata conclusiva.

Così Marianne Vos ha posto il terzo sigillo, rendendo evidente a tutti che, quando le tappe sono di questa tiplogia, superarla è davvero difficile. Ottima prestazione anche per Ilaria Sanguineti e Giorgia Bariani che hanno concluso la prova fra le prime dieci dell'ordine di arrivo.

ENGLISH VERSION - ROYAL SPRINT OF MARIANNE VOS IN NOLA VULCANO BUONO

Marianne Vos sets the trio at the Giro Rosa: the sixth stage, 97.5 kilometers from Torre del Greco to Nola-Vulcano Buono, ended in a sprint, as largely predictable and the Dutch champion did not wait. On the very hot finish line of Nola-Vulcano Buono, Marianne Vos clearly preceded Hanna Barnes and Lotte Kopecky in the sprint. Annemiek Van Vleuten controlled the race, keeping the pink jersey for the fifth consecutive day.

After the start, which took place at 12:00 from Torre del Greco, the athletes encountered streets crowded with many fans, despite the asphyxiating heat that this summer finale is giving to the most important women's race in the world. Vos' final victory was heralded by an incredible action from the CCC-Liv team midway through the race. Some athletes tried to move the race, especially in the final kilometers, unfortunately without any luck. The attack that kept the audience in suspense took place less than thirty kilometers from the finish when Maria Novodolskaya came out of the platoon, for her a maximum advantage of 28 ''. At least two from the finish, however, the group regrouped for the final sprint.

So Marianne Vos placed the third seal, making it clear to everyone that, when the stages are of this type, overcoming it is really difficult. Really good performance even for Ilaria Sanguineti and Giorgia Bariani, who finish the stage among the top ten in the order of arrival.
