CLAMOROSO AL GIRO ROSA: CADUTA PER ANNEMIEK VAN VLEUTEN, SOSPETTA FRATTURA. KOPECKY VINCE

Una brutta caduta, all'ultimo chilometro della settima tappa del Giro Rosa, da Nola - Vulcano Buono a Maddaloni, ha coinvolto Annemiek Van Vleuten, Marianne Vos e Amanda Spratt. Queste atlete sono in ospedale per accertamenti, per Van Vleuten si teme una frattura del braccio, per Spratt una frattura della clavicola. Sono attese novità in serata. Spratt e Van Vleuten, che comunque è attualmente in maglia rosa, sono apparse molto doloranti al traguardo. La tappa è stata vinta da Lotte Kopecky che ha superato Elizabeth Deignan e Katarzyna Niewiadoma al terzo passaggio sullo strappo che ha condotto il gruppo all'arrivo di Maddaloni. 

La tappa, insidiosa e assediata dal caldo afoso, è vissuta sull'attacco di cinque atlete: Maria Novolodskaya, Aude Biannic, Alison Jackson, Silvia Zanardi e Ainar Elbusto. Le atlete hanno raggiunto un vantaggio considerevole ma non sufficiente per la vittoria di tappa. L'ultima ad esserre ripresa dal plotone è stata Maria Novolodskaya, all'attacco anche ieri, quando si stavano accedendo i fuochi d'artificio per la volata finale, a gruppo ristretto.

Una brutta caduta ha coinvolto Marianne Vos, Annemiek Van Vleuten e Amanda Spratt, nelle prime posizioni del plotone per non rischiare e giocarsi la tappa. A vincere è stata Lotte Kopecky che, dopo i piazzamenti dei giorni scorsi, è finalmente riuscita a salire sul gradino più alto del podio. In seconda posizione Elizabeth Deignan, terza Katarzyna Niewiadoma. La carovana attende aggiornamenti sullo stato di salute della campionessa del mondo e attuale leader della classifica generale.

- FALL FOR ANNEMIEK VAN VLEUTEN, SUSPENDED FRACTURE OF THE ARM. KOPECKY WINS

A bad fall, at the last kilometer of the seventh stage of the Giro Rosa, from Nola - Vulcano Buono to Maddaloni, involved Annemiek Van Vleuten, Marianne Vos and Amanda Spratt. These athletes are in hospital for updates, for Van Vleuten there is a fear of a fracture of the arm, for Spratt a fracture of the collarbone. News are expected in the evening. Spratt and Van Vleuten, who is currently in the pink jersey anyway, appeared very sore at the finish. The stage was won by Lotte Kopecky who overtook Elizabeth Deignan and Katarzyna Niewiadoma in the third passage on the tear that led the group to Maddaloni's arrival.

The stage, treacherous and besieged by the sultry heat, was experienced on the attack of five athletes: Maria Novolodskaya, Aude Biannic, Alison Jackson, Silvia Zanardi and Ainar Elbusto. The athletes have achieved a considerable advantage but not sufficient for the stage victory. The last to be picked up by the platoon was Maria Novolodskaya, also on the attack yesterday, when the fireworks were being accessed for the final sprint, in a small group.

A bad fall involved Marianne Vos, Annemiek Van Vleuten and Amanda Spratt, in the first positions of the peloton in order not to risk and play the stage. The winner was Lotte Kopecky who, after the placings of the past few days, has finally managed to get on the top step of the podium. In second position Elizabeth Deignan, third Katarzyna Niewiadoma. The caravan awaits updates on the health status of the world champion and current leader of the general classification.
