MATTEO BUSATO E' 8° NELLA 4^ TAPPA DEL GIRO D'ITALIA

Prima top 10 al Giro d'Italia per la Wilier – Southeast con Matteo Busato che si è piazzato all'ottavo posto nella 4^ tappa, la Catanzaro – Praia a Mare.

Una frazione lunga ed impegnativa che ha segnato il ritorno della carovana in Italia con un percorso che ha esaltato le caratteristiche del corridore veneto che aveva provato ad evadere dal gruppo a 25 km dall'arrivo lungo le rampe del secondo GPM di giornata, il San Pietro.

Nel finale di tappa Busato non è riuscito a seguire l'azione del vincitore Diego Ulissi ma ha comunque sprintato nel gruppetto dei big ottenendo quello che è il suo dodicesimo piazzamento tra i primi 10 in questo 2016.

Domani il Giro risale verso Nord con l'arrivo di Benevento dopo 233 km di corsa.

MATTEO BUSATO IS 8TH IN THE 4TH STAGE OF GIRO D'ITALIA

First top 10 in the Giro d'Italia for Wilier – Southeast with Matteo Busato who achieved a good 8th place in the 4th stage, the Catanzaro – Praia a Mare.

A long and hard stage who brought back the “Carovana Rosa” in Italy with a route that exaltes the qualities of the veneto rider who tried to escape from the peloton with 25 kms to go on the ramps of the second GPM of the day, San Pietro.

In the final of the stage Busato wasn't able to follow the winner Diego Ulissi but he could sprint in the leaders bunch achieving his 12th top 10 in this 2016.

Tomorrow the Giro goes till North with the finish in Benevento after 233 kms of race.
