GIRO D'ITALIA: KOSHEVOY ALL'ATTACCO PER 170 KM
La Wilier Triestina - Selle Italia non ha nascosto le ambizioni bellicose nemmeno nella 2^ tappa del Giro d'Italia in cui la squadra diretta da Luca Scinto e Luca Amoriello si è fatta vedere con un nuovo tentativo da lontano, stavolta di Ilia Koshevoy.
Dei 221 km di tappa, lo scalatore bielorusso ne ha percorsi all'attacco ben 170 arrendendosi al rientro del gruppo lungo l'ascesa di Genna Silana e poi concludendo del suo passo la tappa.
Nel finale nessuno è riuscito ad inserirsi nello sprint ma rimane comunque la grande soddisfazione di aver percorso in testa alla corsa ben 372 dei 427 km finora affrontati, dimostrazione di grande combattività che vedremo anche nella prossima tappa che chiude il trittico sardo, 148 km da Tortolì a Cagliari con un solo GPM di 4^ categoria
GIRO D'ITALIA: A NEW DAY IN THE BREKAWAY WITH ILIA KOSHEVOY
The team Wilier Triestina - Selle Italia didn't hide the aggressive intentions in the 2nd stage of the Giro d'Italia where the team directed by Luca Scinto and Luca Amoriello was again protagonist in the breakaway with Ilia Koshevoy.
The adventure of the belarussian rider lasted for 170 kms before the come back of the peloton that chased the group of escapees on the top of the climb of Genna Silana.
In the final kms no one was able to join the sprint but the morale in the team is high as we were in the head of the race for 372 kms of the 427 kms of these first two stages, an attitude that we are gonna try to repeat also tomorrow during the 148 kms from Tortolì to Cagliari that will be our last day in Sardegna
