GIRO D'ITALIA: AMEZQUETA IN FUGA, RODRIGUEZ CON I BIG
Spagna protagonista nell'8^ tappa del Giro d'Italia che ha visto nuovamente un portacolori della Wilier Triestina - Selle Italia in fuga, Julen Amezqueta.
Il corridore di Estela faceva parte del gruppetto di fuggitivi partiti a 90 km dall'arrivo dopo che la nostra squadra si era vista in forze all'inseguimento di un primo tentativo di 15 unità neutralizzato dopo il GPM di Monte Sant'Angelo.
Ai -30 Amezqueta non riusciva a seguire l'attacco di cinque uomini tra cui Gorka Izagirre che è andato ad aggiudicarsi la tappa.
Molto bene anche Cristian Rodriguez che si conferma in palla chiudendo a ridosso di un selezionatissimo gruppo Maglia Rosa.
Domani sul Blockhaus secondo arrivo in salita di questa edizione della Corsa Rosa
GIRO D''ITALIA: AMEZQUETA IN THE BREAKAWAY, RODRIGUEZ WITH THE FAVOURITES
It was a day with many spanish protagonists in the 8th stage of the Giro d'Italia with Julen Amezqueta representing the team Wilier Triestina - Selle Italia in the breakaway.
The Estela rider was in the group of escapees that attacked with 90 kms to go after that our team led the chase of the previous attempt of 15 riders who were stopped at the top of the KOM of Monte Sant'Angelo.
With -30 to go Amezqueta wasn't able to follow the attack of five men with among them Gorka Izagirre who went to win the stage.
Very good performance as well from Cristian Rodriguez that confirmed his good condition ending the stage just behind a very selected Maglia Rosa bunch.
Tomorrow on the Blockhaus we will face the second uphill ending of this edition of the Corsa Rosa
