GIRO D'ITALIA: 200 KM DI FUGA PER EUGERT ZHUPA
Inizia con una lunghissima fuga di Eugert Zhupa il Giro d'Italia della Wilier Triestina - Selle Italia che comincia quindi da protagonista l'avventura nella Corsa Rosa.
Il Campione Nazionale albanese ha attaccato nei primissimi km della frazione in compagnia di altri cinque corridori transitando per secondo sui primi due GPM di giornata e aggiudicandosi lo sprint intermedio di Santa Teresa di Gallura.
Dopo aver raggiunto un vantaggio massimo di 7' è iniziata la rimonta inesorabile del gruppo che è riuscito a riportarsi sui battistrada a soli 4 km dall'arrivo.
In un finale pericoloso Jakub Mareczko ha sprintato al 16° posto mentre la vittoria è andata all'austriaco Lukas Postlberger.
Domani 221 km da Olbia a Tortolì con la salita di Genna Silana a rendere più complicata una frazione decisamente ondulata
GIRO D'ITALIA: 200 KMS OF BREAKAWAY FOR EUGERT ZHUPA
The Giro d'Italia of the team Wilier Triestina - Selle Italia starts with a long breakaway of Eugert Zhupa that has spent almost 200 kms in the head of the race.
The National Champion of Albania attacked in the very beginning of the stage together with other five riders winning the intermediate sprint of Santa Teresa di Gallura and passing in second place on the first KOM's of the day.
After reaching a 7' advantage, the peloton reacted bridging with the escapees with only 4kms to go.
In a dangerous final, Jakub Mareczko sprinted in 16th place while the win was for the austrian Lukas Postlberger.
Tomorrow 221 kms from Olbia to Tortolì with the climb of Genna Silana that makes even harder a hilly stage
