BARDIANI CSF FAIZANÈ: FILIPPO FIORELLI ALL’ATTACCO NELLA TAPPA DEL SESTRIERE.
Un grintoso Filippo Fiorelli entra nella fuga di giornata e conquista il primo GPM sul Sestriere. Riassorbito dal gruppo maglia rosa sulla seconda ascesa. Salgono così a 11 le fughe su 18 tappe in linea realizzate da 6 atleti del team.

Oltre 140 km di fuga per Filippo Fiorelli nella tappa del Sestriere, l’ultima frazione in linea del Giro d’Italia n.103. L’atleta della Bardiani CSF Faizanè superato un attimo di difficoltà si toglie anche lo soddisfazione di conquistare il primo GPM di giornata. Con l’azione di giornata salgono a 6 gli atleti del team che hanno centrato la fuga in questo Giro d’Italia e a 11 le azioni intraprese.
Queste le parole dell’attaccante di giornata al termine della tappa: “Dopo una prima settimana di Giro molto positiva, nella seconda ho risentito della caduta della tappa di Vieste. Era qualche giorno che volevo centrare la fuga e sono felice di esserci riuscito oggi. All’imbocco della prima salita ho avuto un attimo di difficoltà quando alcuni dei fuggitivi hanno accelerato, ma anche grazie al supporto in radio del mio DS Mirko Rossato ho stretto i denti mi sono ripreso e ho anche preso il primo dei GPM di giornata per dare visibilità alla squadra e agli sponsor. Sono tutto sommato soddisfatto essendo al mio primo Giro d’Italia, sicuramente spero di partecipare anche al prossimo e migliorare ancora i miei risultati.”
Domani la cronometro di Milano chiuderà il Giro n.103, il team ringrazia gli organizzatori per i grandi sforzi profusi per portare a termine la gara più importante della stagione in una situazione globale così complessa.

Over 140 km of breakaway for Filippo Fiorelli in the Sestriere stage, the last of the Giro d'Italia n.103 before the final individual time trial. The Bardiani CSF Faizanè rider has overcome a moment of difficulty and also takes away the satisfaction of winning the first GPM of the day. With the action of the day, the riders of the team who went in the breakaways in this Giro d’Italia rise to 6 and the actions taken to 11.
These are the words of Filippo Fiorelli at the end of the stage: “After a very positive first week of the Giro, in the second I felt the effects of the crash of the Vieste stage. It was a few days that I wanted to make the escape and I am happy to have succeeded today. At the start of the first climb I had a moment of difficulty when some of the fugitives accelerated, but also thanks to the radio support of my DS Mirko Rossato I gritted my teeth I recovered and I even took the first of the GPM of the day to visibility to the team and sponsors. All in all I am satisfied being in my first Giro d’Italia, I certainly hope to participate in the next one and improve my results even more.”
Tomorrow the time trial in Milan will close Giro n.103, the team thanks the organizers for the great efforts made to complete the most important race of the season in such a complex global situation.
