World premiere:
TORTOUR Cyclocross from 12 to 14 February 2016

Following the successful test event of last winter here it comes: The first edition of TORTOUR Cyclocross. The event will take place from 12 to 14 February 2016 in the region of Schaffhausen, Switzerland. 

TORTOUR Cyclocross is the first multi-day cyclocross and gravel stage race in the world. In this new ultra format participants must cover a 202 kilometres route and 3,230 metres of ascent across demanding terrain in challenging winter conditions, divided up into a prologue on Friday and two long stages on Saturday and Sunday, each starting and ending in Schaffhausen. Cyclists can race solo or in teams of two or four, always together. To successfully complete the adventurous race, participants will require both technical skill and maximum stamina.

Register now for the world premiere of TORTOUR Cyclocross and get a sporting achievement under your belt this winter! Registration closes on 15 January 2016. Starting positions are limited and sold as part of an all-inclusive package, which includes accommodation, all meals (as well as provisions during the race), and other amenities alongside participation in the race.

Cyclocross technique training
with pro Florian Vogel

As preparation for the world premiere, TORTOUR Cyclocross is offering two exclusive cyclocross technique trainings, guided by mountain bike and cyclocross pro Florian Vogel. The training sessions will take place close to Zurich on the afternoons of Saturday 12 December 2015 and Saturday 30 January 2016.
In a fun training session, Florian Vogel will teach you the basics of off-road cycling, including how to take curves, hop on and hop off with speed or shoulder your bike correctly. You can then put all you’ve learned into practice on a short ride, leaving you technically well prepared for the first TORTOUR Cyclocross.
We will publish details of the training sessions shortly on our website. To make sure that the training is as beneficial as possible, participant numbers are limited to 20 people per course. Price: CHF 90 per person. Apply now via e-mail.

TORTOUR 2016: First draw on 15 November 2015!

15 November 2015 might just be your lucky day, as this is when the first starting positions for TORTOUR and CHALLENGE 2016 will be drawn! The ultra-cycling adventure around Switzerland takes place from 18 to 21 August 2016, so seize the opportunity and register nowfor your chance to be part of the highlight of the season. Additional draws will take place on 4 January 2016, 29 February 2016, 31 March 2016 and 30 April 2016.

Spring training camps in Mallorca

You have missed the TOROTUR MALLORCA, but you want to prepare yourself well for the TORTOUR 2016 in Switzerland? Get in the right shape during our spring 2016 training camp in Mallorca. The first camp takes place from 12 to 19 March in Alcudia in the north of the island, the second one from 9 to 16 April in Cala d’Or on the east coast. Over a period of an entire week, experienced tour guides will take athletes divided in various level groups on 5 bike tours, covering distances from 80 km to 180 km. The detailed programme, the registration form and further information can be found on our homepage.
