Arriva un’importante firma per il GM Europa Ovini 2017: Sebastian Lander ha infatti firmato il contratto che lo legherà alla formazione di patron Gabriele Marchesani per tutta la prossima stagione. Si tratta di un ingaggio di spessore, in quanto il corridore ha vestito la maglia di campione nazionale danese nel 2012, superando campioni di grande spessore come Jakob Fuglsang e Nicki Sorensen.
Nella stagione seguente il corridore ha difeso i colori della formazione World Tour della BMC Racing Team, squadra con la quale ha potuto correre in appoggio a grandi campioni come Cadel Evans e Philippe Gilbert. Con la squadra americana è riuscito ad ottenere il successo nella cronosquadre del Giro del Trentino; negli ultimi due anni il corridore ha invece difeso i colori della Trefor (2015) e della One Pro Cycling (2016).
“Sebastian Lander è un corridore che si è già espresso su alti livelli, ma che può avere ancora dei margini di miglioramento visto che ha 25 anni – spiega il presidente Gabriele Marchesani – siamo molto felici che abbia scelto la nostra squadra e lo metteremo in condizione di potersi esprimere al meglio delle sue possibilità. Sarà uno dei nostri uomini più importanti in vista della prossima stagione”.

Danish national champion in 2012, the rider has a great experience in the BMC Racing Team
It comes an important signing for GM Europa Ovini 2017: Sebastian Lander has signed the contract that will bind to the formation of the leader Gabriele Marchesani throughout next season. It is a great engagement, because the rider wore the jersey of the Danish national champion in 2012, surpassing very thick samples such as Jakob Fuglsang and Nicki Sorensen.
In the following season, the rider has defended the colors of the World Tour formation BMC Racing Team, training with which he could run in support of great champions like Cadel Evans and Philippe Gilbert.
