CICLOCROSS: BIS DI VALENTINA CORVI IN SPAGNA. LUCIA BRAMATI QUARTA E MIGLIOR UNDER 23 A OSOPPO
10 ottobre 2022 - Si alza il livello delle competizioni di ciclocross e le atlete del Trinx Factory Team rispondono ‘presente’. Dopo il primo weekend di gara a Cadoneghe, nel weekend Valentina Corvi e Lucia Bramati si sono cimentate rispettivamente in Spagna (sabato al Gran Premio Ciudad de Pontevedra, domenica all’Internacional Xaxancx) e a Osoppo, sede della seconda tappa del Giro d’Italia Ciclocross. Ed entrambe hanno denotato significativi passi in avanti rispetto al debutto stagionale al 43° Trofeo Triveneto.
Tornata nella Penisola iberica con la maglia della nazionale dopo gli Europei di Mtb in Portogallo, la 17enne Valentina Corvi ha denotato un ottimo colpo di pedale, aggiudicandosi per distacco il Ciclocross Internacional Xaxancx, gara di categoria C2 disputatasi a Marin.
«Il bilancio sarebbe potuto essere addirittura migliore, se al GP Ciudad de Pontevedra una foratura non l’avesse frenata quando era al comando», analizza il Direttore Sportivo Luca Bramati.
Se la giovane Corvi è all’ennesima conferma dopo una stagione entusiasmante in tutte le discipline dell’offroad, ottime indicazioni arrivano anche da Lucia Bramati (nelle foto di Lisa Paletti), che nel secondo test agonistico nel cross taglia il traguardo di Osoppo in quarta posizione, migliore tra le Under 23. La ragazza di Sandrigo ha preceduto allo sprint una delle coetenee con cui si è confrontata sin dalle categorie giovanili: la friulana Alice Papo. Ma l’aspetto più significativo è che le due Under 23 abbiano chiuso a pochissimi secondi dalle battistrada, tutte e tre Elite.
La prossima settimana altra verifica per le due atlete, impegnate entrambe in campo internazionale: la junior Valentina Corvi si aggregherà nuovamente con la nazionale in Spagna, mentre Lucia Bramati debutterà all’estero a Steinmaur (Svizzera), sede del Radquer Steinmaur Ciclocross.

CYCLOCROSS: TWO IN A ROW BY VALENTINA CORVI IN SPAIN. LUCIA BRAMATI FOURTH AND BEST UNDER 23 IN OSOPPO
October 10th 2022 - The level of cyclocross competitions rises and Trinx Factory Team’s athletes are in.
Archived the first race weekend in Cadoneghe, over the weekend Valentina Corvi and Lucia Bramati competed respectively in Spain (Saturday at the Gran Premio Ciudad de Pontevedra, Sunday at the Internacional Xaxancx) and in Osoppo, where was scheduled the Giro d’Italia Ciclocross second round.
And both athletes have showed significant steps forward compared to the seasonal debut at the 43rd Trofeo Triveneto.
Back in the Iberian Peninsula with the national team jersey after the MTB European Championships in Portugal, the 17-year-old Valentina Corvi showed an excellent shape, taking a solo victory in the Ciclocross Internacional Xaxancx, category C2 race held in Marin.
«We could have achieved more if a puncture hadn't slowed Valentina down when he was in the lead at the GP Ciudad de Pontevedra», says sporting director Luca Bramati.
If the young Corvi gave another confirmation after an exciting season in all off-road disciplines, excellent indications came from Lucia Bramati
too (in the photos by Lisa Paletti), who in her second cyclocross race of the season crossed the finish line of Osoppo in fourth place position, best among the Under 23s. The 19-year-old from Sandrigo beated in the sprint one of the peers she faced since the youth categories: the Friulian Alice Papo. But the most significant point is that the two Under 23s finished just a few seconds behind the three leaders, all three Elite.
Next week another check for the two athletes, both expected in international events: the junior Valentina Corvi will join the national team again in Spain, while Lucia Bramati will make her debut abroad in Steinmaur (Switzerland), where will be hosted the Radquer Steinmaur Cyclocross.
