Rounding out an incredible week of racing at the Baloise Ladies Tour, Team DSM and Lorena Wiebes made it four stage wins out of six after a brilliant chase, lead out and final sprint.
Despite several small cobbled sections along the route, the team set out to control the day and set up another fast finale. Shouldered with the majority of the work throughout the stage, the team remained calm and brought back the strong three rider breakaway in the closing stages. Peeling off one-by-one and setting up the sprint, the team held a great position through the final roundabout, allowing Wiebes to take the perfect line to the finish; holding the inside of the corner and unleashing a dominant sprint win. It marks the team's fourth win of the race alongside numerous other stage top tens and several great GC placings.
