PROTECT YOUR STYLE WITH KASK

KASK launches the KASK For Women project to improve the experience for all female cyclists

29th November 2016 - Chiuduno, Italy, KASK is pleased to announce the launch of its new project, KASK For Women: an initiative that aims to empower and inspire women to pursue their dreams equipped with the highest performing protection and products to meet the specific expectations and needs of female users.  From the creation of tailored product features, through to an exclusive style KASK want to encourage and support women's passion for cycling, be it for sport, recreation or commuting.

To celebrate the project’s launch, each month a different female KASK athlete – such as Professional Ironman triathlete Michelle Vesterby or Italian cross country mountain bike racer Emilie Collomb – will provide a personal video showcasing their favourite helmet along with quotes and images that bring to life their love of cycling on the KASK Facebook page.

These videos will be complemented throughout each month by inspirational artworks and quotes to inspire and empower women riders to ‘Protect Your Style’, as well as product spotlights showcasing different helmets from KASK’s innovative range from a female perspective. KASK helmets can deliver female riders the exact same superior performance, style, fit and protection as they do to the world’s best men’s professional teams.

KASK believes it's important to 'Protect Your style', they understand that women want to remain stylish all day whether on the bike or not, they want their range to enable women to express their individuality and boost confidence.

This Facebook activity is just one way in which the KASK For Women project will achieve these aims, with many more to follow.

Ylenia Battistello, KASK Cycling Brand Manager explains: “Everything started with a very easy question: ‘What do female riders want from a helmet company?’ We approached riders of all levels, investigating using our female athletes, consumers and riders using focus groups, surveys and media research to find out this and also what influences their helmet purchase decisions. Results revealed that 84% of the women interviewed said they wanted women’s specific products with no compromise on performance, materials or fit. So this was the goal for us: to find the women’s side of KASK and the KASK side in women.”

KASK has always endeavored to provide its customers with a superior product, whether in the design that is aesthetically beautiful, through perfect functionality and performance, to the exceptional fit and comfort our helmets deliver; but by expanding the range of sizes we offer our helmets to be available in – now S (48-55cm), M (52-58cm), L (59-62cm) and XL (61-64cm) – our helmets can better suit a broader range of women’s head shapes and sizes.

KASK has enjoyed working with Strongher to promote and champion women’s cycling from the grassroots up. The Strongher scheme is devoted to providing women with a stage to develop themselves and the sport further, providing a real link between professionals and all other cyclists.
