Going in to the new cycling season 2016, we would like to stick to the habit of sending you a monthly newsletter. Obviously a lot of exciting things are coming up for the women of Topsport Vlaanderen – Etixx – Guill D’or! Everybody is looking forward to the official start of the season later this month.

At the team presentation it became clear that the team is betting on professionality and appearance. Both factors are in line with the expectation now that Topsport Vlaanderen – Etixx – Guill D’or became part of the select group of 20 teams who can call themselves World Tour. In their own tour bus the women of Topsport Vlaanderen – Etixx – Guill D’or will travel across Europa to participate in as many international competitions as possible. 13 riders should battle the rivals in this Olympic year. 

At this point everybody is in full preparation for the coming season. Some girls have an appointment with the spring classics on Flemish roads, others just nearly finished their school exams, they are setting goals later on the season. As of this week all riders have the focus on training and preparation. Which is why the team decided to organise a training camp in Spanish Calpe. This region will be the scenery of tough training sessions and teambuilding. You will be able to follow us in the coming weeks on social media: Twitter, Facebook and You Tube channel.
