Liane Lippert wins Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race with tremendous late attack

Downpours of rain made for a tough opening round of the Women's WorldTour in Australia. The team's spirit was never diminished though, setting out with a plan to set up Liane Lippert for the tricky finale. Duly delivering, the young German rider made a stinging attack with five kilometres to go, not looking back and holding on to the line; taking the team's first win of the season.
