2017 Team values launched
The Cervélo Bigla Pro Cycling Team is in the process of completing its pre-racing training camp in Spain. The team used the opportunity to unite as a group around its team values for the 2017 season.
The following values are branded on the Endura team kit.
• Honesty
• Innovate
• Sacrifice
• Unite
• Succeed
Team Manager, Thomas Campana, explained the strategy behind the addition to the clothing. “I found it personally very important to remind ourselves of these values which are part of the legacy of Cervélo professional cycling teams and they are more relevant today than ever. This is what we stand for. Innovation is driven in partnership with our partners. The goal of the management is to unite the group. To be successful, you have to unite. If you’re honest, you can unite. All these values come full circle and if we adhere to them, we create one group and have a better chance of succeeding.”
The team ended the 2016 season as one of its most successful to date earning 45 podium places, including 14 victories and two medals from the UCI world championships in Doha. Lotta Lepistö won the bronze medal in the road race while the team also finished third in the team time trial discipline.
Early success has already been achieved this year with Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio winning the South African National time trial championships. The team will get its European campaign underway in Omloop Het Nieuwsblad (25 Feb) and Omloop van Het Hageland (26 Feb).
