TRE ATLETE IN GARA AI MONDIALI
 La stagione ciclistica 2021 si avvia verso la conclusione, ma in programma c'è ancora uno degli eventi più affascinanti e prestigiosi di tutto l'anno, il Campionato del Mondo su strada. La rassegna è già in corso di svolgimento in Belgio nella regione delle Fiandre, ma adesso le gare a cronometro lasceranno spazio alle attesissime prove in linea che si disputeranno a Lovanio su percorsi ricchi di brevi strappi ed insidie: nella corsa riservata alla categorie Donne Élite, in programma sabato 25 settembre, avremo al via anche tre cicliste della A.R. Monex Liv Women's Pro Cycling Team che dovranno cimentarsi con un tracciato di 157.7 chilometri caratterizzato da 20 salite corte ma che sicuramente di faranno sentire sulle gambe delle atlete.
A guidare la nazionale di Cuba ci sarà la 28enne Arlenis Sierra che sarà al via del Campionato del Mondo su strada per la quarta volta in carriera: le quattro vittorie conquistate nelle ultime settimane tra Giro della Toscana e Tour de l'Ardèche hanno dato la consapevolezza di un'ottima condizione fisica che sarà necessaria per provare ad inseguire un piazzamento ai piani alti dell'ordine d'arrivo. Quarta partecipazione alla rassegna iridata anche per la scalatrice spagnola Eider Merino, reduce da un buon 19° posto al Campionato Europeo di Trento: il percorso fiammingo non le si adatta alla perfezione, ma proverà a mettere la propria esperienza al servizio delle compagne di squadra. Sarà invece la campionessa nazionale Yareli Salazar a rappresentare il Messico e per lei si tratterà del debutto assoluto in un Mondiale su strada: proprio in questo 2021 ha disputato tutta la campagna delle classiche del nord e questa esperienza le sarà fondamentale per districarsi al meglio sulle strade fiamminghe attorno a Lovanio.

THREE RIDERS AT THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
 The 2021 cycling season is drawing to a close, but one of the most fascinating and prestigious events of the whole year is still on the agenda, the UCI Road World Championship. The competitions already underway in Belgium in the Flanders region, but now the time trials will leave space to the eagerly awaited road races that will be held in Leuven on routes full of short hills and challenges: in the race reserved for the Women Élite category, scheduled for Saturday 25 September, we will also have at the start three A.R. Monex Liv Women's Pro Cycling Team riders who will have to test themselves on a 157.7 kilometer route that features 20 short climbs which at the end will be surely felt on the athletes' legs.
Leading the Cuban national team will be 28-year-old Arlenis Sierra who will be at the start of the Road World Championship for the fourth time in her career: the four victories won in the last few weeks between the Giro della Toscana and the Tour de l'Ardèche have given awareness an excellent physical condition that will be necessary to try to chase a placement on the upper floors of the final classification. Fourth participation in the World Championship also for the Spanish climber Eider Merino, fresh from a good 19th place at the European Championship in Trento: the Flemish route does not suit her perfectly, but she will try to put her experience at the service of her teammates. It will be the national champion Yareli Salazar to represent Mexico and for her it will be her absolute debut in a Road World Championship: in this 2021 she raced the entire campaign of the Northern Classics and this experience will be fundamental for her to better perform on the Flemish roads around Leuven.
