Trek-Segafredo unveils 2020 jerseys
London, November 1st – Thursday, October 31st, saw the official opening day of the prestigious 2019 Rouleur Classic and included the world premiere of the 2020 Trek-Segafredo men's and women's kits, created from eco-friendly fabrics woven from recycled yarns for the first time.

Trek-Segafredo riders Giulio Ciccone and Lizzie Deignan presented the new Santini jerseys, and Trek-Segafredo also announced that the partnership with Santini would continue for the next three years.

Giulio Ciccone, in his first year with the USA WorldTour team, won a stage and the mountains classification in the 2019 Giro d'Italia and held the coveted yellow jersey for two stages in the Tour de France. He was joined by British and 2015 World Champion Lizzie Deignan, who won the overall at the OVO Energy Women's Tour in her comeback year after giving birth to her daughter.

Ciccone: "I am really happy with the new kit, and the first impression I had was super positive. We have reached a top-level quality in terms of materials this year. The Impact area is now bigger on the shorts, and that will provide better protection during races, and this is something a rider really appreciates. I also appreciate the design, with the right mix of colors and the introduction of the navy blue with white and red."

Deignan: "I think the team kit is excellent again for 2020. I like the fact that they haven't changed it too much because I think our 2019 kit was striking and popular. We've had a really positive year, and it'll be great to have a continuation of that. The Impact panel is innovative and gives us a lot of confidence because we know if we do crash, then we'll be extra-protected."

Santini and Trek-Segafredo also took the opportunity to announce their continuation for the next three seasons, extending their partnership that began in 2018.

Santini Cycling Wear CEO Monica Santini: "We are delighted to be launching the new kits for the Trek-Segafredo men's and women's teams at an exhibition as prestigious as the Rouleur Classic.  The London event is an important show, and since we are also there as an exhibitor, we get to showcase some of our products that we are developing with the pro athletes, but are also available for amateurs."
