OLTRE 200 KM DI FUGA PER TIZZA, BROGI E PACCHIARDO AL TOUR OF CROATIA
Il GM Europa Ovini in grandissima evidenza con 3 uomini nella fuga di 8 corridori che ha animato la tappa più lunga della corsa croata

La terza tappa del Tour of Croatia ha visto il GM Europa Ovini in grandissima evidenza. Nella frazione più lunga della corsa croata, la Imotski – Zadar di 237 km, la squadra #blackandgreen è stata presente nella principale fuga di giornata con ben 3 propri corridori: Marco Tizza, Adriano Brogi e Davide Pacchiardo, insieme ad altri 5 attaccanti.
L’azione che ha animato la tappa ha preso il via pochi chilometri dopo la partenza: gli 8 uomini sono riusciti ad ottenere un vantaggio massimo di circa 5 minuti sul resto del gruppo. Tutti questi corridori sono così riusciti a confermare l’ottimo feeling che hanno con il Tour of Croatia: Tizza e Brogi già nelle passate edizioni si sono messi in luce con delle azioni a lunga gittata, mentre nel 2015 Pacchiardo è riuscito ad ottenere l’ottava posizione nella classifica generale finale con la divisa della nazionale italiana.
Durante la fuga Pacchiardo ha ottenuto un primo e un secondo posto ai GPM, mentre i due traguardi volanti di giornata sono stati entrambi vinti da Adriano Brogi. L’azione si è spenta a soli 3 km dal traguardo, quando le squadre dei velocisti hanno lavorato in blocco per lanciare i propri capitani in volata. Il successo è andato a Nicola Ruffoni della Bardiani-CSF.
“E’ un peccato essere stati ripresi a pochi chilometri dall’arrivo – afferma il direttore sportivo Dmitry Nikandrov – sapevamo che questa tappa poteva essere adatta alle fughe da lontano e così non abbiamo perso l’occasione per attaccare. Faccio i complimenti ai nostri ragazzi perché stare 200 km al vento non è facile e loro hanno avuto la grinta per lottare fino all’ultimo metro. Ci riproveremo nelle prossime tappe”.
Domani quarta tappa del Tour of Croatia da Crikvenica a Umag (171 km).

GM Europa Ovini at the top with 3 men in the escape of 8 riders who animated the longest stage of the Croatian race
The third stage of the Tour of Croatia saw the GM Europa Ovini in great evidence. In the longest stage of the Croatian race, Imotski – Zadar, 237 km, the #blackandgreen team was present in the main breakaway of the day with 3 riders: Marco Tizza, Adriano Brogi and Davide Pacchiardo, along with 5 other strikers.
The action that animated the stage kicked off a few miles after the start: the 8 men obtained a maximum of about 5 minutes from the rest of the group. All these riders have been able to confirm the great feelings they have with the Tour of Croatia: Tizza and Brogi already in past editions have come to light with long-range action while in 2015 Pacchiardo has managed to get the eighth Position in the final overall classification with the Italian national team.
During the breakaway Pacchiardo got a first and a second place at the GPM, while the two intermediate sprints of the day were both won by Adriano Brogi. The action went off just 3km from the finish line, when the sprint teams worked in block to launch their own flying captains. The success went to Nicola Ruffoni of Bardiani-CSF.
“It is a pity to have resumed a few kilometers from the arrival – said sports director Dmitry Nikandrov – we knew that this stage could be suitable for leaks from a distance so we did not miss the opportunity to attack. I congratulate with our riders because stay 200 km in the wind is not easy and they have had the guts to fight up to the last meter. We’ll be back in the next stages”.
Tomorrow there is the fourth stage of Tour of Croatia from Crikvenica to Umag (171 km).
