GP STAD ZOTTEGEM: LIAM BERTAZZO 11°, EUGERT ZHUPA ALL’ATTACCO

La Wilier Triestina – Southeast conquista il miglior piazzamento nella trasferta belga con Liam Bertazzo. 11° nel GP Stad Zottegem.

Giornata tutta all’attacco per gli uomini diretti da Giuseppe di Fresco con Eugert Zhupa che ci ha provato in più occasioni, prima in coppia con lo stagiaire Cristian Raileanu in un gruppetto di 25 corridori, e poi in solitario negli ultimi 15 km venendo ripreso a -8 dall’arrivo.

Nello sprint finale Liam Bertazzo ha provato ad inserirsi nella lotta per il successo chiudendo con un 11° posto e certificando il suo momento di ottima forma.

Il prossimo appuntamento in Belgio sarà il 3 settembre la Brussels Cycling Classic.

Wilier Triestina – Southeast achieves his best placement in the belgian campaign with Liam Bertazzo, 11th in the Gp Stad Zottegem.

A day on the attack for the riders directd by Giuseppe di Fresco with protagonist Eugert Zhupa that tried his luck first with the stagiaire Cristian Raileanu in an attempt of 25 men, and then on his own in the last 15 kms before the comeback of the peloton with only 8 kms to go.

In the final sprint Liam Bertazzo tried to fight for the win ending in 11th place confirming his good form.

The next belgian race for the team will be the 3rd of September with the Brussels Cycling Classic.
