BILANCIO POSITIVO ALLA VOLTA A PORTUGAL PER IL GM EUROPA OVINI 
 
La squadra #blackandgreen torna a casa con due podi di tappa, tre piazzamenti in una top 10 e numerose fughe

Si è conclusa con la cronometro di Viseu, lunga 20 km, la Volta a Portugal: dopo 10 tappe e un cronoprologo iniziale, la squadra #blackandgreen può dire di aver onorato fino alla fine la corsa, una delle più dure alle quali abbia mai preso parte, e che è stata un’esperienza significativa per tutti i ragazzi che compongono la rosa del team. 

Nella prova contro il tempo finale non ci sono stati acuti particolari, ma il bilancio complessivo della Volta a Portugal, per il GM Europa Ovini, è più che positivo. Di grande rilievo sono stati i due piazzamenti sul podio di tappa ottenuti da Antonino Parrinello e da Marco Tizza. Il siciliano ha chiuso la seconda tappa in seconda posizione, superato per soli 10 millesimi di secondo; il corridore lombardo si è invece piazzato terzo nella tappa con arrivo a Oliveira de Azeméis, ottava frazione della corsa a tappe portoghese. 

Oltre a questi due piazzamenti sul podio, la squadra #blackandgreen ha collezionato anche altri 3 piazzamenti in una top 10 di tappa grazie a Matteo Rotondi e a Marco Tizza. Di non minore rilievo sono state le fughe: Antonio Di Sante e Antonino Parrinello sono stati particolarmente combattivi in questo senso, sfiorando anche il colpaccio. Molto bravi sono stati anche Davide Pacchiardo e Sebastian Lander, capaci di essere protagonisti in altre importanti azioni da lontano. 

“La Volta a Portugal è stata una grande esperienza per i nostri ragazzi – afferma il direttore sportivo Dmitry Nikandrov – i risultati che abbiamo ottenuto ci dimostrano che abbiamo lavorato bene e che abbiamo potuto competere con le migliori squadre presenti a questa edizione della corsa, che è stata molto dura e impegnativa. L’obiettivo sarà quello di continuare a lavorare bene in vista delle classiche di fine stagione in Italia”.

The #blackandgreen team comes back home with two stage podiums, three placings in a top 10 and numerous leaks

It ended with 20 km long Viseu stopwatch, Volta in Portugal: after 10 stages and an early prologue, the #blackandgreen team can say they honored the race, one of the toughest they ever took part, and that was a significant experience for all the boys who make up the team’s roster. 

In the final time trial there were no sharp details, but the overall budget of Volta in Portugal for GM Europa Ovini is more than positive. Of great importance were the two placings on the stage podium obtained by Antonino Parrinello and Marco Tizza. The Sicilian rider finished the second leg in second position, surpassed for only 10 milliseconds; The Lombard rider placed third in the stage with arrival at Oliveira de Azeméis, the eighth fraction of the Portuguese stage race. 

In addition to these two placements on the podium, the #blackandgreen team has also collected 3 more placements in a top 10 of the stage thanks to Matteo Rotondi and Marco Tizza. No less important were the leaks: Antonio Di Sante and Antonino Parrinello were particularly combatant in this regard, touching the victory.
