Two National Champions, two 2nd places and one 3rd place for Team Bahrain Merida riders

National Championships continue to be very successful for TBM riders. Today we have seen 5 TBM riders on the podiums in 3 different countries - Spain, Slovenia and Lithuania.

We have a new Spanish National Champion Gorka Izagirre, who was the fastest Spanish rider at 215 km ride from Castellon de la Plana to Benicassim. It was a very challenging route with total elevation of more than 3.000 meters. After hard and selective 100 km, we have seen the three laps of a final circuit with the climb to the Desierto de las Palms.

In Mirna Peč, a small Slovenian village close to Novo Mesto, Slovenian contenders featured a challenging course with two demanding climbs (about 1.5 km length) on a 12 km circuit to be repeated 15 times. After total 180 km, we have seen superiority of two riders. A new Slovenian National Champion Matej Mohorič and 2nd Domen Novak who both finished with a big advantage ahead of the competitors and behind them, on 3rd, another TBM rider - Luka Pibernik.

Another 2nd place in 2 days for Ramunas Navardauskas. After 182.4 km (10 laps x 18.24 km) with the start and finish in KalniškÄ— near Gargždai Ramunas finished 2nd.

In Team Bahrain Merida they are proud on their riders and great results.
